Act With Me: The Social Movie Studio
make movies with your friends, wherever they are
Ever wanted to be in or make a movie? Well you can in less than a minute. Get ready to unleash your inner movie-maker with "Act With Me" The Social Movie Studio.
Making movies has never been this easy or fun, here's how it works.
You start with a script, either chose one from our library (which includes scripts written by EMMY Award winning screenwriter Gordon Bressack), or write one of your own. Once you have a script you are ready to cast your movie.
If you log in to the app with Facebook, you can cast your friends, or even allow random actors to join your movie. Each person films their own part on their own iOS Device, and all of the clips are sent to you as soon as they are shot.
"Act With Me" allows you to approve, rewrite, move clips, add transitions, trim clips, and edit the script, all on the fly.
When your movie is done, it's time to share it with the world on Facebook, YouTube, and of course, the "Act With Me" Gallery.
If you don't want to make movies, rather just act in them, you simply tap "Act Now" and a list of available "Open Cast" roles pops up for you to browse through. When you find a role that looks interesting, tap on it, review the script, and if you are "up for the part" no pun intended, join the movie and start filming.
With "Act With Me" you can make short films, parody videos, video greetings, documentaries, how to videos, just to name a few.
Just ask yourself "What type of video am I going to make, when I have access to collaborators all over the world?"
"Act With Me" is a:
- Social Movie Studio
- Video Project Manager
- Script Editor
- Video Camera
- Video Editor
- A Showcase of the movies people are making.
... all without having to have any knowledge of movie making or video editing. It is easy enough for a first grader to pick up, and perhaps become the next Spielberg, Scorsese, Cameron, or Moore.
Best of all, with "Act With Me" you get to make movies with your friends, wherever they are.
