ApplyApp.ly
Finding job seekers their most compatible job openings.
ApplyApp.ly is a new job search tool that uses your experience to show job opportunities for which you're best suited. It analyzes information provided by the job seeker – through connecting LinkedIn or uploading a resume – and semantically compares it against job descriptions sourced from job boards and directly posted by employers, and provides job seekers personalized job matches.
"The list of available jobs generated by job search engines is primitive," said Mona Abdel-Halim, co-Founder at Careerimp. "Job seekers can put in the position and location they are interested in, but it doesn't really provide them with a list of the most relevant jobs. For one, titles are worded differently across organizations. Second, they may not know exactly what they are best suited for -- for instance, a Project Manager at a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company requires many different skills from a Project Manager at a VC-backed tech startup."
Apart from skills and experience, it also assesses positions based on the user’s Myers-Briggs® personality type, which helps to determine if they will be satisfied in the position. This leads to a more diverse pool and better ranking of opportunities, and also allows job seekers to optimize their efforts when applying for a new position.
Once a job seeker finds a position of interest on ApplyApp.ly, they can use Careerimp's pre-existing service, Resunate, to convert their qualifications into a resume and receive objective feedback to improve their resume for the job before applying to it.
ApplyApp.ly is launching with job postings from the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City and Pittsburgh, PA. Employers can add their openings to ApplyApp.ly or find out how to white label the job board for internal openings by going to employers.applyapp.ly.
