Career Element allows users to name a price for assistance finding their dream job. These days it’s almost impossible to land a job without knowing somebody, you know the old saying “it’s not just what you know, it’s who you know,” well Career Element greatly increases the “Who” in your job search. The site combines elements of executive recruiting, e-commerce and social networking, by allowing users to create a profile describing their credentials, their dream job and a price they are willing to pay for assistance in obtaining that job. By naming a price, users can solicit the help of those with an inside track to the company who will in turn help guide the candidate’s resume through the hiring process. Once an agreement is reached and the desired position acquired, a reward is paid to the agent. Those who can provide assistance to job seekers may also create a profile to have their services bid upon, making the site a virtual marketplace for professional advancement. CareerElement.com will also pay $500 to any user for every person they invite to CareerElement.com who lands a job through the site.
