Know Your Food!

Primarily, it’s a tool to help manage small flocks and egg production, but the larger goal is to build a community of small flock owners and a community of buyers for local eggs. Our ‘big picture’ goal is a national network of local small flocks, and we think it’s a common sense way of helping to alleviate problems brought on by centralized food processing, such as food safety. We also think that by promoting small flocks we can also help promote food security and local economies.
