Why is FeedMeSports unique? FeedMeSports is a RSS app centered around sports, which is not uncommon in the App Store; however, FeedMeSports does something no other RSS app does. It allows the user to choose the specific teams they want to follow and get news for. This is completely different from most RSS apps, because most other apps bring together a large amount of feeds in one place with little organization. FeedMeSports allows the user to follow only the teams they want. Are you a fan of the New Orleans Saints? Well, FeedMeSports will get you the local blogs, newspapers, and national media articles on your team without a bunch of other news to weed through. FeedMeSports also allows the user to let us know what blog, news feeds, or even teams they would like to have added when they rate the app or visit our blog at www.tetsuume.com/blog ! The first example of this was on December 25, 2011. A user rated our free version with three stars because we did not have Cal State Fullerton in the NCAA section of FeedMeSports. Since iTunes Connect was down for the holiday, we did not find out until December 28th of this user's rating. Once we found out, we not only added Cal State Fullerton in the NCAA section, we added FIVE news feeds and hope to add more shortly! We also added the entire National Hockey League due to high demand, and have a minimum of FIVE news feeds PER team! These two bullet points are what make FeedMeSports stand above our competition!
