Guzzle reads hundreds of feeds every second to get you the latest news about stuff you care about.
What’s new in 2.0 release:
- Guzzle’s backend (called Nibble) has been completely rewritten from scratch. Nibble is notified in real-time, by receiving PubSubHubbub notifications, when a monitored feed publishes a new article. Every story is automatically processed with Reuters Calais technology, adding rich semantic encoding information.
- A revamped UI.
- Feeling lazy? Read all the news, by predefined category.
- Go back in time! Guzzle keeps track of every articles published and lets you search its large, classified and spam-free archives.
- A fresh new « Extended Mode » view for a more magazine-like experience, with large images and visible source, author and description.
- Want to use your existing feed reader? Pretty much everything is now available as a normalized ATOM feed.
- For when you’ve got service in the club and are not ki-kinda busy : pop your iPhone, Guzzle will be available on the AppStore as soon as Apple approves it.
- Guzzle now reads and speaks French! Oui, c’est vrai.
