LeFeed - Organizes News Feeds and Recommends New Stuff

Learns Organizes Recommends

It's a facebook application that learns what users want to see on their news feed, and recommends new content based on their likes. LeFeed uses artificial intelligence algorithms to learn what types of things users want to see, which friends they are most interested in, and based on this data and some more, LeFeed organizes users news feed. So they don't have to see lots of updates from their primary school friends that they haven't talked for ages. Besides this, it also provides recommendations based on users likes, their friends and close friends likes using Collaborative Filtering Techniques. This recommendations section also learns what user likes, so it constantly updates its recommendations.
