Listango is a simple bookmarking tool that makes it easy to save, organize, and share your favorite web pages.
Here's how the co-founder of Listango describes it:
"I came up with the idea for Listango to fill a need… my own. I was frustrated with my bookmark folders. I had several hundred bookmarks saved, but none of them were organized properly and I could never find the ones I needed when I actually needed them. Plus, bookmarks on my work PC were not available on my home PC or iPad, and vice-versa. So I searched around the web for a solution but could not find anything I really liked. All I wanted was a simple tool that would allow me to quickly save and organize my bookmarks online, accessible from any device. So I called my friend Steve and we started Listango."
On Listango, users can easily set up folders to store their links to, and then share these folders with friends. For example, a user could set up a folder containing links to his favorite web blogs, and then share this list with his friends. Unlike other bookmarking tools, Listango allows the user to decide whether or not to share his or her bookmarks with the outside world. The user can set individual folders to Public or Private in Listango, making it easy to decide which information is shared.
Listango is supported on all modern web browsers, and can be accessed from any PC, phone, or tablet. Registration is free at www.listango.com.
