Writer

The Internet Typewriter

To begin, just start writing. Writer will take care of saving your work as you go automatically every few minutes, when you start a new document, and when you open a different document.

Saved documents are listed at the bottom of the page. Open one by clicking it. The document you are currently working on will be automatically saved first.

Click “New” to save your current document and start with a blank page. Press F11 to get a full-screen writing environment. Press F11 again to return to a normal window.

There are two keyboard shortcuts. Ctrl-S to save, Ctrl-N for a new document. Try this for fun: Type something, Ctrl-N, type something else, Ctrl-N. Neat, huh?

Writer is free. If you like it, please consider making a donation through the link at the bottom of the page.
