Scribie is an audio transcription outsourcing service where you can get your interviews, podcasts, webinars transcribed by certified freelancers for $0.99 per minute of audio. The transcripts are delivered in 1 business day and are 98 to 100% accurate.

Freelancers are required to first apply and take a test to get certified on Scribie.com. Whenever files are available they are notified and they can submit the transcripts and get paid. To speed up the transcription process the files are split into small segments. The transcribers get paid hourly for the work done. The individual parts are combined and proofread to produce the final transcript. The whole process is managed by the system which Scribie.com has developed. The system has multiple levels of checks and balances inbuilt into it so as to guarantee 98 per cent to 100 per cent accuracy for the transcripts.

Scribie.com also distributes the popular Skype recording application, CallGraph Skype Recorder. It is one of the few free Skype recorders without any limits whatsoever. CallGraph Skype recorder can record interviews in high quality audio files. The recorded files are saved locally on the PC which can then be uploaded to Scribie for transcription.
