  • Why do you choose not to filter Adult & Offensive searches? We believe in displaying a truly accurate reflection of web searches. However We are working on an optional filter system that should be operational within the next few days.
  • Where is data being collected from? We have partnered up with several search engines. we are currently only running at about 40% throttle in terms of data collection while in early beta testing.. (This amounts to around 2.5 million searches per day)
  • How accurate is the data? Google alone has an estimated 400 million searches per day, at maximum capacity we gather data for around 6 million searches per day. So Its a small portion but we like to think its still a fair reflection of what people are searching for on the web.
  • Why would so many people be searching for e.g. “Yahoo.com” or “Yahoo”? Why would they not just type in address bar? This question keeps coming up so I feel it needs to be addressed. If you have own website I’m willing to bet one of your top referring search terms is “yoursitename.com” or “yoursitename”. I know this is the case for us.
