searchcode is a code specific search engine.
searchcode is a code specific search engine. API documentation, code snippets and open source (free sofware) repositories are indexed and searchable. Essentially its about providing a free service to developers which will allow them to be more productive when working with new languages and API's. When Google Code search shut down code search was plunged back into the dark ages. The remaining code searches were either slow, had a small amount of code, or missing features that made things much easier. searchcode hopes to fill the gap.
