Smplr uses “triggers” to fire off search queries or to launch a website. By default, your queries will go to google. Triggers are a small bit of text (usually 1 to 3 characters) that, when appended with a colon, preface your search queries. To search for smplr at yahoo, you only need to type “y: smplr” and press enter. To open a url, google for instance, type “go: google.com” or “go: http://google.com”. For a full list of triggers that smplr recognizes, check the legend by clicking the tab at the bottom of the main screen.
