Since launching on March 29th the SongFreaks App has had over 20,000 downloads and a 4.5/5 average score. Our iPhone and Android app is a personal music player that streams lyrics in time with the song being played. It synchronizes with the user’s music library and provides lyrics in the music player. The key feature of the app is its LyricStream technology that highlights lyrics in time with the song being played thus allowing the listener to easily sing and follow along. All lyrics are fully licensed and come from a massive database that has been personally verified to be authentic. Listeners can also add their own LyricStream to any song that does not have one. The new LyricStream will be added to our app for all its users to see once completed. Thus the app encourages users to help build a community of listeners that bring divergent musical tastes together. The SongFreaks app starts with an easy to use tutorial and of course it is free to download. As well there are sections featuring top songs, albums, bands, and their biographies. Users can also add their top songs into a favorite’s category that stores the song’s lyrics and allows them to be viewed anytime, even without internet access.
