Keep an eye on your kids' online activities without having to look over their shoulder

2 Eyes On You Protect Their Innocence
Review posted Wed 21 Oct '15

There's little doubt that the iPad and tablets in general have completely changed the way we think and work these days. For kids, in particular, they have opened up a whole new world of entertainment and education, the like of which we've never seen before. There are apps being put on the market now that would never have seen the light of day if there wasn't a tablet to view them on. Typically though, there's a downside to most new things. For a start, how do we know that the things our children are viewing on the Internet are safe ... Read more

Fully automated monitoring to ensure your site or app is always working well

RapidSpike Ensure your website is online...
Review posted Thu 15 Oct '15

One of the consequences of the age we live in is the rise of the business website and online store. There are more and more people who have either given up on the regular Main Street store or have decided that they are sick of working for someone else and want to go out on their own. So they create their website or app and reckon it's all downhill from here as they wait for the money to roll in. Maybe a little naively, some believe that once they've unleashed their online presence onto the world, most of the hard ... Read more

DYNO Mapper Sitemap Generator
Review posted Wed 14 Oct '15

No matter the size of your website, one of it's essential features will be a site map so that visitors will know where to go to view the things they want to see. However, while the sitemap is very useful for general navigation it can also be a place that attracts the interest of the search engine. You can create your own sitemap, of course, using one of the many apps available online. There are a squillion of them. Some offer HTML sitemaps that delivers excellent general navigation for web visitors while others offer XML versions that are intended to ... Read more

Dont let just any Tom, Dick or Harriett have your real mobile number

DialMask Add a Layer of Privacy to...
Review posted Wed 14 Oct '15

One of the more painful things about giving out your mobile phone number to people that you don't really know is that you are instantly vulnerable. If it’s a business that has your number, the chances are you'll be getting follow up calls offering 'the deal of a lifetime' for the next few weeks. While that's not so bad if you are at home receiving the call, you really don't want random phone calls while you are at work, out for dinner or - worst of all - when you are driving. DialMask is a very useful phone privacy app ... Read more

A new way to meet friends and find out what's going on around you

AskMob Ask, Share and Meet People...
Review posted Tue 6 Oct '15

A while back we reviewed a crowd-sourcing app called InAWord Reviews that asked people from all over the world their opinions on everything from movies to restaurants in just a word or two. Now here’s an app that takes the completely opposite approach to information gathering. Rather than reaching out to the world in general, AskMob is a new social tracking app for iOS and Android that concentrates on the people directly around you. It aims to find out what people in your local area are thinking about and what they are getting up to but only deals with people ... Read more

Most of the apps we review here at FeedMyApp are good, solid and dependable and they do exactly what you'd think they would do. There are plenty of apps for business, plenty of game apps and plenty of social apps. But occasionally, one comes along that really takes us by surprise. Zookazam is, without a shadow of a doubt, an app that'll make you go "Wow!!!" So, what makes it so special, you may ask? Well, what if I told you that you could have an animated 3D dinosaur sitting right there on your desk in front of you...or maybe ... Read more

Classic old school gameplay for modern devices

Paradot Do you have the balls!
Review posted Tue 29 Sep '15

I went to visit some friends down the coast recently and it occurred to me that the choice of home entertainment goes down big time as soon as one gets away from the city. We played a few games of cards before someone pulled out a peg solitaire game and that was it for the rest of the evening. I'd forgotten how wonderfully addictive and entertaining it was. I guess there was a little bit of synchronicity involved when I came across this entertaining puzzle game for iOS that bears some basic similarities. Paradot is a minimalistic retro style action ... Have your food ready and waiting for you at your favorite lunchtime restaurant

Allset Have your lunch served on...
Review posted Thu 24 Sep '15

One of the more annoying things about eating out at a restaurant is the time it takes between getting there and actually getting your meal. As Tom Petty once said, the waiting is the hardest part. Don't think you are alone though. Most restaurants could probably fit in an extra sitting if they could cut down the time between guests arriving and actually finishing their meal. It's not quite as inconvenient in the evening when diners have more time but if they only have an hour or so for lunch it can get a bit tight, to say the least. ... Read more

Could this be the next Candy Crush Saga?

Berry Blast Blast your way to the top
Review posted Tue 22 Sep '15

When Candy Crush Saga was first unleashed onto the mobile market back in 2012 there wasn't a huge amount of fuss about it. It was the follow on from the very successful browser game - Candy Crush. At the time, FarmVille 2 was killing it as the most popular game on Facebook The rest of the story is history and, within a year, Candy Crush Saga was made available to multiple platforms and had almost 50 million users playing it every month. There have been a multitude of games released since then that have tried to steal a little of ... Read more

Review your favorite things in just a word or two and share your opinions with your friends

In a Word Reviews Review anything, in a word
Review posted Tue 22 Sep '15

When you ask a friend what they thought of a movie, a book or a restaurant they've visited, the chances are the first thing will say will be short and sweet. Their first response will often come down to something simple like "it's great" or "it's rubbish" before going on to describe it in more detailed terms. While its hardly a detailed response, once they've delivered those fateful initial couple of words, your mind will be made up pretty quickly as to it's worthiness. As the Impressions once sang..."First impressions are lasting impressions..." Read more
