While it is great to have so many different portals to collect and store data it does tend throw up a few problems when you are trying to find and organize something important. We tend to use our various devices in different ways. When we are out and about it is often more convenient to save content to our iPhone while, when at the office it could be your iPad. Then there's the stuff that you have saved to your cloud storage. And we haven't even started on the different file types yet - some of which work on one ... Read more

Openera Automated Filing for Everyone
Review posted Tue 11 Dec '12  ·  1 comment

Everybody hates filing stuff away, don't they. It's the most boring job in the office and nobody likes to be the one to do it. So, despite our best intentions, there always seems to be a bunch of stuff to file away at the end of every day. Eventually, that pile gets so big that it's unmanageable. Personally though, it's not so much the filing that gets to me as trying to find what I'm looking for afterwards and working out what I filed it under. Well, Openera just came into your life to solve both those problems at the ... Read more

I could make a bad New Zealand joke here and say that Tinder is how Kiwis like their meat and their women ... but I won't. Tinder is, in fact a rather useful cloud-based document management application that specializes in encouraging its collaborative side. Tinder is a great set of collaborative tools that are designed to bring colleagues and customers together,  wherever they are and whenever they want, to keep everyone in the know. And what's more, it's free for small businesses with teams of 5 or less people.   Tinder is a next generation social collaboration platform for your ... Read more

NotaryNow Notarize documents online...
Review posted Fri 24 Aug '12

I had an occasion recently where I needed some official papers notarized. I thought it would be pretty easy to organize but in the end it took me a good two days to get things signed. Everywhere I went seemed to turn into a problem as I either hadn't taken the right papers with me or they were too busy to deal with me right now. Oh for an online notary where I could do everything from my home with all my papers at arms length. The amount of time (and money) it would save me is ridiculous. Well,  NotaryNow ... Read more

Review posted Sun 19 Aug '12

Someone asked me the other day what was the point of owning an iPad when their iPhone does almost as much and it made phonecalls, too. Not a bad point but, as I explained to them, I actually use my iPad  as a second computer these days. In fact, I use it way more than my regular computer. The fact is, with the right apps installed and a good WiFi connectability, there isn't much that it won't do that your regular computer will. The only thing that I would love it to do would be to view and edit my ... Read more
