A customizable and unique weather app where you only see what you want to see

Cirrus One One weather app...for...
Review posted Sat 15 Nov '14

Being a bit of an artist in my spare time, I've been looking at a lot of clouds lately. The most amazing thing about them is that, apart from their basic atmospheric structure, every single one of them is completely different. Unfortunately, most of the apps that track and inform us about our weather, tend not to be quite so unique. Here is one that takes its name from one of the most beautiful cloud formations up there and offers something a little more bespoke. Cirrus One has been in development for a number of years and finally gets its ... Read more

Track and record your happiness and spread a little smile

MyHappiness Share Smiles and Practice...
Review posted Tue 9 Sep '14

The world is not a very happy place right now. Just look at the news. There's trouble in the Middle East and Europe, and Africa is a minefield just waiting to explode. The fact is, as individuals, we can't really have much control over what's happening in the word. We can have some control in our own individual happiness, however. MyHappiness is a social self-help application for iOS and Android that can be used as a personal happiness trainer as well as a platform to keep a record of your happy times and your not-so-happy times. This fun set of ... Read more

Lend or trade your stuff with your social friends

Review posted Mon 8 Sep '14

Have a look around you. I bet you have a ton of stuff that works perfectly well and yet you don't use very much - if at all. Most households are the same. We've all got useful stuff that is just taking up space in our homes. Your nextdoor neighbor or the family down the road probably have the same situation. The fact is, when we need something like a circular saw or a bicycle or a microwave, we just go out and buy a new one rather than asking if our neighbors have one that we can buy or ... Read more

Smartphone to smartphone messaging that is free and totally private

SQURE messenger SQURE is using SMS protocol...
Review posted Mon 1 Sep '14

There has been a huge amount of conversation lately about the security of our communications - whether it be online or on your phone. In America, Europe and Australia, Governments have been desperately trying to put legislation in place so that they can monitor the online activities of potential terrorists but many of these actions appear to be somewhat disproportionate responses. Apart from the obvious invasion of privacy issue, if the NSA can have access to your private information then, chances are, there are others who might also be able to get their hands on it. SQURE messenger is a ... Read more

Review posted Sat 2 Aug '14

Music is a strange thing. We are all affected by it in different ways and have different expectations when we listen to it. Some of us want to know everything about our favorite artists including their inside leg measurement while others aren't quite so fussy and just want to have some decent and familiar music to while away the hours and hum along to. Music streaming apps have latched onto this and there are now a squillion different places to access the music that you love. Pandora is probably the oldest of the free internet music streaming services and likes ... Read more

Fully customizable automated invoicing to save you time and money

ChargeOver Automated Subscription...
Review posted Thu 10 Jul '14

If you've ever been in the business of collecting subscriptions from customers you will already know that there are pitfalls. For a start, a percentage of credit card payments will fail for one reason or another and communication to those customers via phone or email is guaranteed to take up way too much of your time. ChargeOver takes the hard graft out of automated invoicing and recurring billing by getting rid of paper invoices and statements and replacing them with a fully customizable automatic invoicing platform that's filled with great features.   If you are looking for a flexible, extendable ... An exciting and addictive role playing game to keep you amused for hours

Review posted Tue 8 Jul '14

The Tower Defense (TD) style of video game is a sub-genre of real time strategy games where the idea is to try to stop an invading force from making inroads into your territory by using various fighting methods - and anything else you can get your hands on. I guess the genre began when Atari introduces the game Rampart way back in the early 90's. The graphics have changed a lot over the years but the gameplay is basically pretty similar. Hero TD - Ancient Continent is a multiplayer online role-playing game for Android, Blackberry10 and iOS that proves to ... Read more

Simplify, manage and organize your business purchases and end the paper chase

Procurify Purchasing made ridiculously...
Review posted Wed 2 Jul '14

Keeping your purchasing under control is one of the most important things for a business in order to keep its head above water. You don't want Charlie ordering up supplies in one department while Sam replicates it in another. The answer to the problem, of course, lies in creating a purchase order for the goods but we all know that there are times when that can go wrong. Procurify is an easy-to-use expense management and accounting application for business that simplifies, manages and organizes your business purchases - whether they be photocopy paper or new computers - and stops you ... The future of music radio streaming begins here

Review posted Wed 4 Jun '14

The inference from Apple forking out US$3 million for Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine's Beats headphones and the music streaming service Beats Music is that it's only a matter of time before iTunes and the concept of 'owning music' bites the dust. The way we listen to music is changing. According to recent figures released by Digital Music News, digital downloads are down by around 14% this year alone and the trend seems to be drifting towards radio streaming as a way of accessing music. The concept behind streaming radio is that, when you select an artist or a song, ... Read more

Try to find the treasure in the mystery house by solving clues and riddles

The Hidden Treasure of Nahala The Hidden Treasure of Nahala...
Review posted Mon 2 Jun '14

It must have been my growing up in a household that was stacked with Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes novels that led to my love of a genuinely good  'whodunnit' mystery. I used to love trying to figure out who the dastardly murderer was or who stole the jewels from some stately mansion. Then along came the Cluedo board game and it went to another level. The thought of Mr Mustard bludgeoning someone to death with a hammer in the kitchen still haunts me. Things changed inexorably though when fully interactive games like Myst and, later on, Syberia were unleashed ... Read more
