Zillabyte A Leg-Up in Big Data Analysis...
Review posted Thu 25 Sep '14

The chase to harness big data has become one of the next great aspirations both in the public and private sectors. But what’s more amazing than the fact that the data we’ve created online over the past two years eclipses the prior record of human civilization, is that now we have methods to capture, analyze and use it, according to Weatherhead University Professor Gary King in an article published by Harvard Magazine. An exciting and addictive role playing game to keep you amused for hours

Hero TD - Ancient Continent Aid the Princess and help...
Review posted Tue 8 Jul '14

The Tower Defense (TD) style of video game is a sub-genre of real time strategy games where the idea is to try to stop an invading force from making inroads into your territory by using various fighting methods - and anything else you can get your hands on. I guess the genre began when Atari introduces the game Rampart way back in the early 90's. The graphics have changed a lot over the years but the gameplay is basically pretty similar. Hero TD - Ancient Continent is a multiplayer online role-playing game for Android, Blackberry10 and iOS that proves to ... Read more

Happy2Help is probably one of the most philanthropic community based applications for iPhone that we've seen this year. Whilst others offer simple, commercial operations, this one gives you a chance to improve your karma in the world by offering a helping hand to other users. Happy2Help is a social community that allows you to offer or receive help no matter whether it be learning a language, getting help with your homework or anything else you may need help with.   Happy2Help is an iPhone app that makes it easy for anyone to offer and receive help. It could be in ... Read more

An online game that is better than the original

BackgammonAce BackgammonAce: Reach the Top...
Review posted Tue 20 May '14

Along with Go and Chess, Backgammon is reckoned to be one of the oldest games in existence. It was originally thought to have been played about 5,000 years ago and seems to have originated in what today we call Iraq - though it was then known as Mesopotamia. Equally, real-time online backgammon play was just as quick off the mark with the first internet backgammon server coming online being established in 1992. However, the online game has come a long way since those days. BackgammonAce is an exciting, fast and free game application for iOS and Android that turns the ... Read more

Get compensation if your flight is cancelled or delayed

ClaimAir Collect flight compensations...
Review posted Mon 12 May '14

I'm betting that you, like me, have absolutely no idea that airlines have regulations in force that let you collect compensation for various flying conditions that may interrupt your trip. That's probably because the airlines like to keep it a secret and hide details in the fine print of your contract. The fact is, if your flight is delayed or cancelled or you are denied the right to board for some reason you may be eligible for some form of recompense from the airline involved. This is also true for some baggage related issues including loss or damage. ClaimAir is ... Read more

The best, fastest and cheapest way of getting around town

The Uber App Request, ride, and pay via...
Review posted Thu 1 May '14

You might have noticed the kerfuffle that has been kicked up about this next generation taxi application - actually they call it private hire and ride sharing - over the last few months. Uber has been featured on the front pages of newspapers all over the world from New York to Australia. So, why is it causing such a fuss? Well, Uber has come into conflict with Government and traditional taxi companies who believe that there are insurance issues and that both cars and drivers should have to be licensed.  But, the fact of the matter is, Uber appears to ... A new, easy and provocative way of writing a personal diary or journal

Askt App Journal by daily questions
Review posted Sat 26 Apr '14

You might have seen a review that FeedMyApp posted recently for an app called BooksTo.Me. In it, it was mentioned how posting daily Instagram photos has become the new diary for many people and how it was a convenient way of documenting your life. The diary concept has all but disappeared for many these days, but with so many popular online versions available as well as the plethora of personal blogs and journals, it’s obvious that many have a hankering to document their daily activities. But anyone who writes on a daily basis will know that the hardest sentence to ... Read more

The safest way to avoid parking tickets

ParkingMaestro Local app to save motorists...
Review posted Wed 9 Apr '14

If there's one thing that's guaranteed to put a motorist in a foul mood for the day, it's the parking fine. To be fined hundreds of dollars for simply parking your car for five minutes longer that it should be is, to be quite honest, rather pathetic. To my mind, councils should be putting more of our tax dollars into building car parks and improving public transport than hiring thousands of resolute parking officers to slap a ticket on your car. The fact is, our cities are overcrowded and there are more cars on the roads these days than ever ... Read more

One of the essential travel apps for travel in Asia

Tripper The World's Local Assistant
Review posted Wed 26 Feb '14  ·  1 comment

Wouldn't it be great if you could take your very own interpreter with you when you visit a country where you don't speak or understand the language? You could hire one with some local knowledge when you get to your destination but that can be quite pricey and there's no guarantee that your guide will have all the answers you need. What's more, you are going to need them to hang around with you wherever you go. The sensible alternative may be to turn to an iOS and Android travel application like this one. Tripper, or 'The World's Local Assistant' ... Read more

A travel guide that feels more like a travel book

Regular readers of FeedMyApp reviews will know only too well our love of the well-made travel application. We all have our favorites in the office but it's hard to believe that this colorful and comprehensive travel app for iOS isn't going to feature very strongly in all of our top ten lists pretty soon. MomondoPlaces offers free, in-depth city guides for seven of the most popular cities in the world. And while the app features a detailed study of each city, it's has a unique factor in that you can search for things to do based on the mood you ... Read more
