Stop arguing with your housemates about chores and food shopping.

Hearth Harmonize your home
Review posted Fri 11 Dec '15

Given the high price of rental residences in major cities it's hardly surprising that there are more and more share houses these days with several people splitting the cost of the rent and household expenses. In many cases, the first time they meet each other is when they move in - especially when we are talking about student accommodation. It's all good fun at first. Parties every night and new friends to get to know. But then comes the crunch when the place starts to get dirty and one person ends up doing most of the cleaning and another gets ... Read more

Interactive video messaging that could be the next big thing

Flyreel Post videos that others can...
Review posted Mon 26 Oct '15

I've often wondered, you know. What exactly is it that turns a good app into a viral sensation? Over the years we've reviewed all the great free social apps upon release here at the FeedMyApp offices. Some, like Pinterest, Vine and Snapchat, were pretty obviously going to succeed. Others, like Flipboard, were not quite so obvious. The one thing they do need is a fair bit of luck. Given that wee bit of that luck, here's one that looks like it has all the right ingredients to hit the big time and be a mainstay in the app world over ... Read more

DYNO Mapper Sitemap Generator
Review posted Wed 14 Oct '15

No matter the size of your website, one of it's essential features will be a site map so that visitors will know where to go to view the things they want to see. However, while the sitemap is very useful for general navigation it can also be a place that attracts the interest of the search engine. You can create your own sitemap, of course, using one of the many apps available online. There are a squillion of them. Some offer HTML sitemaps that delivers excellent general navigation for web visitors while others offer XML versions that are intended to ... Read more

Gesturely The perfect app for people...
Review posted Fri 21 Aug '15

Here at the FeedMyApp offices, we get sent a vast amount of app submissions every week. The last time I looked there were well over 30,000 apps in the system. Most of them are a lot of fun and don't claim to be groundbreaking events but occasionally, just occasionally, one comes along that will actually improve our lives. They are those one-of-a-kind apps that we wish we had come up with ourselves. Gesturely is one such app. So how can it change our lives? Well, how many times at work do you find yourself sending emails or messages out with ... Read more

Review posted Thu 30 Apr '15

Having completed various online courses over the last few years, I can tell you from first-hand experience that there's a big difference between a good one and an average one. The good ones are based on solid online learning techniques but remain relevant by incorporating the most up to date information available. They must be accessible on any type of browser - whether it be mobile, tablet or web - and they must be adaptable to all levels of learning. More and more businesses these days are having to change the way that they develop their workers' knowledge by creating ... Read more

Review posted Mon 15 Sep '14

The way business works is changing rather rapidly in the 21st Century. Rather than everything being purely centered around an office environment, more and more businesses are working with reps in the field - whether it be in the local community, nationally or worldwide. It used to be complicated to keep in touch and collaborate with mobile workers who would report in anyway they could but mostly via expensive phone calls, emails or by fax. I'm sure you remember those horrible fax machines. Some of you are probably still using them now. Thankfully, those days seem numbered when apps like ... Read more

Track and record your happiness and spread a little smile

Review posted Tue 9 Sep '14

The world is not a very happy place right now. Just look at the news. There's trouble in the Middle East and Europe, and Africa is a minefield just waiting to explode. The fact is, as individuals, we can't really have much control over what's happening in the word. We can have some control in our own individual happiness, however. MyHappiness is a social self-help application for iOS and Android that can be used as a personal happiness trainer as well as a platform to keep a record of your happy times and your not-so-happy times. This fun set of ... Read more

Review posted Thu 14 Aug '14

Mobile Web apps have come a long way to challenge their Native app counterparts and a debate has formed as to which method is best. Both offer users and developers advantages and hindrances in platform independence, performance, user discoverability, maintenance and much more. One thing is for certain, organizations developing their mobile content strategy should be aware of the advantages and disadvantages of both application technologies. Read more

Review posted Sun 15 Jun '14

If you have to rely on hand written notes or your memory to keep track of your business dealings and phone calls in the 21st Century you really aren't fulfilling the potential of your capabilities. It's not so bad if you are dealing with the odd phone call but, if you are receiving a fair number of enquiries, there is no way you will be able to keep track of everything that is said or done. Callorb is a simple but effective productivity application for Android that let's you note and make notes on all your phone calls as soon ... Read more

Analyze Common Core tests with heat maps

Review posted Sun 11 May '14

I guess the best way to describe a heat map is probably to think of it as a table or a spreadsheet. Rather than detailing information with numbers, however, heat maps highlight the same information but use colors instead. This makes it clearer and easier for experienced users to analyze certain aspects of information. Read Heat is an education application that uses this technology to better analyze students to see how they react and respond to questions posed in the new Common Core standards testing. It aims to find out more about how students respond to the latest formats of ... Read more
