Nectar App Sweet & Simple Lead Tracking
Review posted Thu 8 May '14

Big business has whole departments to follow up on any business leads in order to take them to fruition. They run vast CRM's that are overflowing with features and make sure that they do everything in their power to nurture even the merest hint of a lead and turn it into a business opportunity. That's not so easy if you are a freelancer, an entrepreneur or a small businessperson who might not have the time or the resources to follow things up quite as efficiently. Nectar is an easy-to-use and very manageable lead tracking solution that is designed for those ... Read more

Mammoth Do More
Review posted Mon 28 Apr '14

I planned the ultimate road trip around California a few years ago and researched it to perfection. I started a new Word page for each part of the journey and copiously listed all the websites, resources and attractions I wanted to visit for each section of the journey - right down to the music that I wanted to hear. My hard work paid off and the trip was one of the best I've ever done. If Mammoth had been around back then though, it would have saved me a hell of a lot of time - not to mention looking ... Share your rich media and creative ideas in realtime with a top notch online whiteboard

Spacedeck Simply the best Online...
Review posted Mon 7 Apr '14

We've talked for a few years now about the paperless office but, after the initial enthusiasm, it seems to be stalling a little. I find it hard to believe that, in order to get concepts and designs across to friends, colleagues, clients and fellow students, there still seems to be a paper element or a data disc involved.  Spacedeck offers a real-time, web-based whiteboard to deliver a complete solution. It can be viewed on any device and from wherever you have an Internet connection. Whether you are a student, a teacher or a scientist, Spacedeck makes it easy for you ... Read more

Crowdsource your interior designs from professionals and save heaps

Decorilla Crowdsource your decorating...
Review posted Sun 23 Mar '14

One of the significant changes in architectural design over the last couple of decades is that the emphasis is now on the interior of a building rather than what it looks like from the outside. In the past, people wanted to show others the beauty and grandiosity of their living accommodation whereas these days it's all about how luxurious they are on the inside. The plethora of home renovation tv shows have compounded this to the point that more and more people are now renovating their existing homes rather than moving into a new one. This can save a lot ... A fully portable autism aid for when you are on the go

Words in Pictures App for autistic children
Review posted Thu 6 Mar '14

According to Wikipedia, Autism is defined as ' a disorder of neural development characterized by impaired social interaction and verbal and non-verbal communication and by restricted, repetitive or stereotypical behavior.' Sufferers, more often than not young children, regularly have trouble understanding concepts that can generally only be solved using pictures to back up vocabulary and diligent parents will spend hours at home setting up image cards to help kids understand better, the world that they live in. A year or so back, an Italian developer - aided by a team of neuropsychiatrists, speech therapists, educators and parents from all over ... Read more

Collaborative writing that is fun as well as being educational

Fablelane Collaborative story writing...
Review posted Thu 16 Jan '14  ·  62 comments

To my mind, an app like Fablelane has two separate reasons for existence. First and foremost, this collaborative storyboard can encourage writers of all ages - but especially young writers - to get involved in story creation and get social at the same time. But its other purpose -as an educational tool - could well be the more important and the more useful of the two. You can use the app to fuel your creative mind and continue someone else's story, write the beginning of a story of your own or you can use it in a more educational way ... Read more

Seamless Communication and monitoring of your team wherever they are

Devizan Development made transparent.
Review posted Sat 14 Dec '13  ·  604 comments

If you are lucky enough to have all your software development team in the one place you are probably in the minority these days. You will find that many will collaborate on projects with other developers that can be based anywhere else in the world. The problem arises for management teams when they are looking for development transparency on work done. Devizan is a cloud-based, software development application that will help when you need to check a project's state (at any point in its history,) changes made during development, maintenance phases or its documentation. Rather than showing screenshots or keyboard ... Read more

Surfly Surfly - Surf the web together
Review posted Sun 3 Nov '13  ·  73 comments

While its easy enough to call a person to person or team meeting when you are all in the one place, it's not quite so easy if you are in different places or working remotely on the other side of the world. You can probably get away with Skyping it, if you are lucky and well organized. If you want to run through the issues of a website when the relevant parties are scattered around the globe, however, things can start to get a little trickier. Surfly is a free, cloud based collaborative application that lets you share a web ... Read more

We've been saying for some time now that the canny businessperson could run their whole office using only apps these days. And what's more, if you run a small business, it is possible to run the whole thing using apps that will cost you next to nothing. Meeting King 2 is the new version of an excellent productivity application that helps better organize your meetings and make them far more productive. Rather than keeping details of meetings on scraps of paper, using Word or in the meeting minutes, Meeting King provides a place to record the agenda and all the ... Read more

ONDiGO CRM Mobile CRM for Small...
Review posted Thu 19 Sep '13  ·  341 comments

It might be fairly easy to keep in contact with your customers and keep notes about your communications when you spend most of your time in the office but it's not quite so easy when you are often out on the road. With a bit of luck you will be keeping notes of your customer conversations but then it's more a question of transferring those notes onto their file back in the office to keep track of everything. ONDiGO CRM is a free CRM app that is built for mobiles and makes it easy to manage your customers when you ... Read more
