Crowdsource your interior designs from professionals and save heaps

Decorilla Crowdsource your decorating...
Review posted Sun 23 Mar '14

One of the significant changes in architectural design over the last couple of decades is that the emphasis is now on the interior of a building rather than what it looks like from the outside. In the past, people wanted to show others the beauty and grandiosity of their living accommodation whereas these days it's all about how luxurious they are on the inside. The plethora of home renovation tv shows have compounded this to the point that more and more people are now renovating their existing homes rather than moving into a new one. This can save a lot ... The Internet has certainly changed the way we live but who would have thought that it would change the way we speak, too? Im sure that, by now, everyone knows full well that LOL means Laugh Out Loud but it gets a bit challenging when you are presented with SEO's and FML...and we haven't even thought about LMFAO - maybe we shouldn't go there just yet. The fact is, the Internet exists on acronyms, abbreviations and slang and, if you want to know your way around, there needs to be an easy place to go if you want to find ... Read more

A better way to Google

Neuoogle.com Change Based Search Tool
Review posted Tue 26 Nov '13  ·  428 comments

While Google is a highly effective search engine for many, there are definitely times when it seems to be a little bogged down with too much information. For those of us that need to nail down something very specific on the net it would help if we could slightly change the way we search. Neuoogle offers what is known as a 'changed base' search tool for those of us that need to home in on an item or a subject and keep track of all references to it - now and in the future. This iPhone application lets you create ... Read more

Review posted Thu 19 Sep '13  ·  341 comments

It might be fairly easy to keep in contact with your customers and keep notes about your communications when you spend most of your time in the office but it's not quite so easy when you are often out on the road. With a bit of luck you will be keeping notes of your customer conversations but then it's more a question of transferring those notes onto their file back in the office to keep track of everything. ONDiGO CRM is a free CRM app that is built for mobiles and makes it easy to manage your customers when you ... Read more

The best place to gossip anonymously

Local Anonymous Anonymous Crushes, Questions...
Review posted Mon 16 Sep '13  ·  361 comments

There's a little bit of voyeurism in all of us it appears. Theres nothing more exciting for some than to hear or share a bit of gossip with others. Youve only got to have watched one episode of the tv series "Pretty Little Liars" to realize that. Many of us also seem to like to be fairly anonymous ourselves - especially when we are sharing our private information with others. Local Anonymous is a free, social sharing application for iOS where you can post and share your secrets and confessions in your local area without anyone ever finding out who ... Read more

Review posted Fri 13 Sep '13  ·  158 comments

emoteShare is a very useful little cloud based tool that might well give you the same amount of information that a much more expensive feedback tool will deliver. This simple yet clever advice and communication tool for web publishers gives you a plugin giving you an easy way to analyze social media opinions on your site or page. Just create your plugin at the website, paste it on your page and get immediate reactions as your customers offer their opinions on any questions you want answers to or polls that need winners or losers.   It takes a lot of ... Review posted Mon 12 Aug '13  ·  1957 comments

Readers who tune into our reviews on a reasonably regular basis will know just how much we love a good photo editing application. Usually they tend to be a single function set of tools that will use different filters to turn your photos into something special. Quite often, these days, I will use two or maybe three different apps to achieve some truly artistic masterpieces - well, I think so, anyway. So it's kinda rare when a free app comes along that gives you multiple photo editing tools. Viscomsoft Social Galleries is a photo sharing and photo editing tool that ... Read more

Startific Startific, the could homepage
Review posted Mon 3 Jun '13  ·  919 comments

It's probably the introduction of devices like smartphones and tablets that have brought about the likes of an app like Startific. iPhones and iPad have their apps lined up so neatly and precisely within the interface that we now realize how pleasant and efficient it is to have all our accessible information laid out at our fingertips via their colorful icons. Startific is a beautiful, functional and customizable startpage where you can import and organize all your most important links, bookmarks, icons and widgets so that they are now just a fingertip away from access.   Startific is a very ... The only place to go for great free clipart

Review posted Thu 30 May '13  ·  547 comments

If I said the words clipart to you the chances are you going to flip the page and have a look t something else. Clip art apps and sites are 'two-a-penny' aren't they? Just Google one and you will find pretty well what you are looking for straight away. Some will be free and some will require a royalty fee to be paid. Most people aren't keen on the idea of paying for clipart so there is a lot of potential for an app like this one. i2Clipart is an online sharing network that lets users create, share and download ... Get locals to tell you what's good through social networks

Sooligan You're not a hooligan, you're...
Review posted Thu 9 May '13  ·  50 comments

I have a friend who runs a cafe locally and I checked out the online reviews for the place the other day. They varied from ultra-complimentary (probably written by themselves) to ultra-critical (probably written by people from rival cafes.) To be quite honest, it didn't tell me much about the place. The whole concept of reviews needs to be thrown back on the people that matter most - customers - and Sooligan is a social review site with a difference. It takes it's 'reviews' from the comments on the pages of social media to give you a much broader overview ... Read more
