A few years ago I had a friend who had been laboriously plotting a story that he hoped might be taken up as a tv series. He kept it tucked away on his mobile device and worked on it diligently for over a year. I contacted him again a couple of years later after I'd seen the pilot episode of a new series because the plot line bore a remarkable resemblance to his own. He told me that he'd seen the episode and put two and two together and worked out that, while he'd been at a writers’ workshop, he'd ... Read more

Effective real estate management from A to Z

Orange Pear Online Real Estate Management
Review posted Wed 26 Aug '15

Now that the real estate industry has pretty much recovered after the debacle of the GFC in 2008 I would have thought that there would be a plethora of apps on the market to guide realtors through the complicated procedures of buying and selling property. But while doing research for this new app, I was surprised that there weren't heaps of similar apps to compare it to. The fact is, there are plenty of apps that deal with specific parts of the real estate process but very few that cover all aspects of the buying, selling and renting of property. ... Read more

Take the hassle out of conference room bookings

Roomzilla Effective and easy to use...
Review posted Sun 9 Aug '15

You wouldn't think that there would be too many problems in managing physical conference room reservations, would you? One would figure that you just invite people after checking their schedules and then find a room and work out a convenient time for everyone. There are even models in Outlook and Google Calendar that work on that system. Unfortunately, it's not always that simple. What tends to happen is that some rooms get double booked while others remain empty - causing frustration on all sides. After years of testing, a company in Cambridge, Massachusetts has put together a faultless, cloud-based solution ... Read more

An easy to use CRM for freelancers and small business that is as smooth as silk

Simplifyd Running your business...
Review posted Mon 12 Jan '15

Over the years, the FeedMyApp review team has reviewed 1000's of apps - many of which have gone some way to making our lives simpler and easier. Business apps, in particular, have gone from strength to strength during this time, but have changed slightly over the period. In the early days of the app revolution, great innovation tended to pave the way but, of late, the emphasis has been on simplicity of use rather than groundbreaking lightbulb moments. This year there has been a plethora of CRMs aimed primarily at the freelancer or small business owner that have tried to ... Read more

Review posted Mon 22 Dec '14

One of things that has been holding back small business when it comes to having an online presence has been lack of technical knowledge. Many business owners are technically challenged by website builders and CRMs, feel that they just don't have the computer skills to maintain them properly or figure that they are just too damned expensive to justify. If they do attempt to enter the online world they will generally cherry pick cheap, individual services and hope that they will all work together somewhere down the line. OElite Platform offers a cost effective set of small business management tools ... Read more

Who said that there wasnt any such thing as a baby manual?

Review posted Sat 16 Aug '14

There's an old adage that says something along the lines of 'babies don't come with a users manual' but here's an app that goes some way to defying that. iBaby is a new free baby health monitoring application that helps parents keep track of their baby's progress from conception to birth (and beyond.) Starting when you configure and enter your due date, this customizable application will keep you constantly updated as to where things stand and how long it will be until your baby is born. It also delivers week-by-week baby development information and a progress development bar so you ... Read more

Fully customizable automated invoicing to save you time and money

ChargeOver Automated Subscription...
Review posted Thu 10 Jul '14

If you've ever been in the business of collecting subscriptions from customers you will already know that there are pitfalls. For a start, a percentage of credit card payments will fail for one reason or another and communication to those customers via phone or email is guaranteed to take up way too much of your time. ChargeOver takes the hard graft out of automated invoicing and recurring billing by getting rid of paper invoices and statements and replacing them with a fully customizable automatic invoicing platform that's filled with great features.   If you are looking for a flexible, extendable ... Review posted Wed 2 Jul '14

Keeping your purchasing under control is one of the most important things for a business in order to keep its head above water. You don't want Charlie ordering up supplies in one department while Sam replicates it in another. The answer to the problem, of course, lies in creating a purchase order for the goods but we all know that there are times when that can go wrong. Procurify is an easy-to-use expense management and accounting application for business that simplifies, manages and organizes your business purchases - whether they be photocopy paper or new computers - and stops you ... A powerful CRM where you can cherry-pick the features that you need

Sellsy The best tool to manage your...
Review posted Wed 25 Jun '14

I think we can all agree that there are enough Customer Relationship Management applications (or CRM's for short) out there to fill the Titanic. Some are huge, all-encompassing apps that are mightily powerful and filled with features while some are more modest. Sellsy offers something slightly different than most. While it offers a comprehensive set of tools that include invoicing, time tracking and a helpdesk as well as team and inventory management, Sellsy is a 'Software as a Service' app so you can pick and choose which services you need at any given time. This gives smaller businesses the benefit ... Read more

NetIncome The easiest way to create and...
Review posted Fri 16 May '14

It would appear that, after the horrors and belt-tightening that resulted from the GFC a few years ago, there seems to be a little bit of money back in the pocket again. It took around 10-15 years for the turnaround to happen after the crash of '29 so we've probably done a good job in minimizing the damage so far. I think we've learned a few things out of this crisis though. The main thing i think that we've learned is that it's never been more important to organize ourselves monetarily and that it's vital to live within our means. ... Read more
