Zillabyte A Leg-Up in Big Data Analysis...
Review posted Thu 25 Sep '14

The chase to harness big data has become one of the next great aspirations both in the public and private sectors. But what’s more amazing than the fact that the data we’ve created online over the past two years eclipses the prior record of human civilization, is that now we have methods to capture, analyze and use it, according to Weatherhead University Professor Gary King in an article published by Harvard Magazine. A mobile CRM designed specifically for businesses with reps in the field

Review posted Mon 15 Sep '14

The way business works is changing rather rapidly in the 21st Century. Rather than everything being purely centered around an office environment, more and more businesses are working with reps in the field - whether it be in the local community, nationally or worldwide. It used to be complicated to keep in touch and collaborate with mobile workers who would report in anyway they could but mostly via expensive phone calls, emails or by fax. I'm sure you remember those horrible fax machines. Some of you are probably still using them now. Thankfully, those days seem numbered when apps like ... Read more

Cheerp Cheerp is the C++ compiler...
Review posted Thu 14 Aug '14

Mobile Web apps have come a long way to challenge their Native app counterparts and a debate has formed as to which method is best. Both offer users and developers advantages and hindrances in platform independence, performance, user discoverability, maintenance and much more. One thing is for certain, organizations developing their mobile content strategy should be aware of the advantages and disadvantages of both application technologies. Read more

A free task organizer that you can use from morning to night

taskify.us Simply manage and share your...
Review posted Sat 9 Aug '14

The trouble with many 'to-do' applications nowadays is that they are geared either towards business use or designed purely for personal stuff. There's not that much around that covers all of your day-to-day activities. The other problem is that they are often packed with way too many features that you'll never use and are altogether too complicated. Taskify.us is a free, simple and effective organizer that lets you jot down all your daily events - from the moment you jump out of bed to the time you get back under the covers - and tick off your tasks when they ... Review posted Fri 20 Jun '14

I'm sure most of us have been in a position where we have had to send an online document or a photo to someone in a hurry. It could be a multi-page contract, a map or an essay. It wouldn't be easy but, i guess you could take a photo of it with your phone camera but its a bit of a pain and not everyone has a smartphone. God help you if you have to convert it into a PDF or something. What you really need is a scanner that you could carry around with you. Sendable is a ... Read more

Callorb Manage your Calls - Manage...
Review posted Sun 15 Jun '14

If you have to rely on hand written notes or your memory to keep track of your business dealings and phone calls in the 21st Century you really aren't fulfilling the potential of your capabilities. It's not so bad if you are dealing with the odd phone call but, if you are receiving a fair number of enquiries, there is no way you will be able to keep track of everything that is said or done. Callorb is a simple but effective productivity application for Android that let's you note and make notes on all your phone calls as soon ... Read more

A social network for creatives with more than fifty shades of grey

MinaGrey Creative Gets Smart, Smart...
Review posted Sun 1 Jun '14

Don't panic, MinaGrey is not the follow up to Fifty Shades of Grey! It's far more worthy to me than that poorly written piece of fluff. Let me just say from the outset here. This free, art and writing application is unlike any other app that we've seen before here at the FeedMyApp offices. I guess the best way to describe it is would be as a non-commercial artistic and creative community where musicians, artists, writers and scientists can freely share ideas, concepts and their artistic skills with the rest of the world. It's a social network - run by ... Read more

Analyze Common Core tests with heat maps

Read Heat Heat Mapping Individual...
Review posted Sun 11 May '14

I guess the best way to describe a heat map is probably to think of it as a table or a spreadsheet. Rather than detailing information with numbers, however, heat maps highlight the same information but use colors instead. This makes it clearer and easier for experienced users to analyze certain aspects of information. Read Heat is an education application that uses this technology to better analyze students to see how they react and respond to questions posed in the new Common Core standards testing. It aims to find out more about how students respond to the latest formats of ... Read more

A small business app to follow your leads

Nectar App Sweet & Simple Lead Tracking
Review posted Thu 8 May '14

Big business has whole departments to follow up on any business leads in order to take them to fruition. They run vast CRM's that are overflowing with features and make sure that they do everything in their power to nurture even the merest hint of a lead and turn it into a business opportunity. That's not so easy if you are a freelancer, an entrepreneur or a small businessperson who might not have the time or the resources to follow things up quite as efficiently. Nectar is an easy-to-use and very manageable lead tracking solution that is designed for those ... Read more

Mammoth Do More
Review posted Mon 28 Apr '14

I planned the ultimate road trip around California a few years ago and researched it to perfection. I started a new Word page for each part of the journey and copiously listed all the websites, resources and attractions I wanted to visit for each section of the journey - right down to the music that I wanted to hear. My hard work paid off and the trip was one of the best I've ever done. If Mammoth had been around back then though, it would have saved me a hell of a lot of time - not to mention looking ...
