Twtebook Share E-books On Twitter
Review posted Fri 28 Oct '11

There have been plenty of times when I've said to a Twittere friend "Have you read any Jonathan Carroll books?" Of course, they've generally never heard of him so I offer to send them something so they can see if they like his writing. That's where it gets a little tricky. I could just go out and buy a copy of "Sleeping In Flames" and post it off but that takes time. I could use a file sharing site but, let's face it, that's a bit of a hassle. Twtebook is a PDF book share tool for Twitter that let's ... Read more

cloc.kr, the productivity app

cloc.kr cloc.kr, the productivity app
Review posted Sat 22 Oct '11

I can't believe how many times I've read stories about bad billing by businesses. So many  businesses have disappeared off the face of the earth because they don't seem to be able to deliver an itemized and correct bill for the services used. Then there are the seemingly dodgy practices that some law firms use where they estimate a price for a specific service like photocopying at the scandalous price of ten bucks a page and hope it gets lost in the overall invoice for 'services provided.' Someone should recommend cloc.kr to these companies right now. cloc.kr is a productivity ... Read more

Review posted Mon 17 Oct '11

As if students don't have a hard enough life anyway there is always the added cost of textbooks and what to do with them when you don't need them anymore. Usually, it's just advertising at your college or university, but you won't get much for them as there are plenty of others selling theirs too. Or you buy and sell them through booksellers leaving you open to bad customer service and hard to read websites. Fairbooks is an education selling tool that buys and sells textbooks at a much better rate than it's competitors.     Fairbooks makes textbook buyback work ... Read more

FollowUp.cc Stop forgetting! Remember to...
Review posted Mon 5 Sep '11

FollowUp.cc is a really good concept for what is essentially a straightforward reminder service. The beauty of this app is that it effortlessly blends into existing technology that we all know and use day in and day out - the humble email. Therefore it is wonderfully simple to use, even for non-techno minded folk. Basically you copy the FollowUp people into any emails by using their email address and designating a time you want to be reminded about that email - for example 5hrs@followup.cc. Once you've familiarized yourself with the basic concept it's really easy to adopt their system into ... Read more
