Review posted Fri 11 May '12  ·  2 comments

Here's a very cool music application for the serious music fan. ListenItLater which allows you to make multiple playlists of newly found music and podcasts collected from streaming websites. Create your lists from SoundCloud's vast array of sounds (with YouTube about to be added) and gather them into any number of varied playlists to listen to later when you have more time to enjoy them.   For us music lovers, we discover great new music all through the day though, quite often, we don’t have enough time to organize it right where and when we find it. ListenItLater is a ... Read more

Review posted Thu 29 Mar '12  ·  1 comment

The way it stands at the moment when I find an interesting webpage that I want to hang on to and look at again later with my friends I do one of two things. I'll either save it to the myriad that is Facebook or I'll bookmark it into another myriad of messiness. Meaki turns the whole bookmarking thing on it's head by making it social. It's a microblogging and sharing application where you can collect and share the cool web pages you find and it presents them in a great looking package. It's almost the Flipboard for web pages. ... Review posted Fri 23 Mar '12

If you , like me, are appalled at some of the pathetic and pointless comments that crop up on stories you read on the net then Talkino could well be something that interests you. It allows you to partake in meaningful discussions on stories you are interested in without having to deal with some of the more annoying comments that are often posted. Yes it does seem a little elitist, dare I say snobbish even, but...you know what? There really is a place for it.   The concept of Talkino was designed to finally solve the problem of getting rid ... Digital Acid Drugs are bad.
Review posted Sat 17 Mar '12

Without a doubt, Digital Acid is one of the weirdest apps for iPhone that I've come across so far. It's an art mashup video tool that features a bunch of supposedly hallucinagenic films accompanied by their own equally trippy soundtracks. The idea behind Digital Acid is that it's virtually a digital drugs image that works by playing the video and staring at the centre of the screen and then staring at your hand to get the desired hallucinogenic effect. I can hear you laughing now but...give it a try.   Digital Acid claims to be an original hallucination inducing abstract ... Read more

Pingram is a free photosharing application where you can display and share your cool Instagram photos inside a tasty looking interface that works just like the very popular Pinterest. It was developed with both Instagram and Pinterest in mind because those two apps are at the cutting edge of both photo warping and addictive photosharing techniques. A business card for the digital age

cloudcard Putting mobile apps in the...
Review posted Sat 25 Feb '12  ·  5 comments

It seems the days of the humble business card are nearly numbered. The introduction of a digital identity application like cloudcard almost registers them obsolete when so much information can be kept more efficiently and attractively on your mobile phone in the guise of this marketing tool. Basically, cloudcard allows you to create your own personal app where clients can click your personal icon with all your information. This includes email, links, directions to your office and even a personal introduction video, which are displayed at the touch of your mobile phone.   Cloudcard allows any business person to have ...
