Review posted Fri 11 May '12  ·  2 comments

Here's a very cool music application for the serious music fan. ListenItLater which allows you to make multiple playlists of newly found music and podcasts collected from streaming websites. Create your lists from SoundCloud's vast array of sounds (with YouTube about to be added) and gather them into any number of varied playlists to listen to later when you have more time to enjoy them.   For us music lovers, we discover great new music all through the day though, quite often, we don’t have enough time to organize it right where and when we find it. A beautiful place to keep your web page clippings

Meaki Find it. Clip it. Keep it....
Review posted Thu 29 Mar '12  ·  1 comment

The way it stands at the moment when I find an interesting webpage that I want to hang on to and look at again later with my friends I do one of two things. I'll either save it to the myriad that is Facebook or I'll bookmark it into another myriad of messiness. Meaki turns the whole bookmarking thing on it's head by making it social. It's a microblogging and sharing application where you can collect and share the cool web pages you find and it presents them in a great looking package. It's almost the Flipboard for web pages. ... Remove the dumb comments from web discussions

Talkino Community-guided filtering of...
Review posted Fri 23 Mar '12

If you , like me, are appalled at some of the pathetic and pointless comments that crop up on stories you read on the net then Talkino could well be something that interests you. It allows you to partake in meaningful discussions on stories you are interested in without having to deal with some of the more annoying comments that are often posted. Yes it does seem a little elitist, dare I say snobbish even, but...you know what? There really is a place for it.   The concept of Talkino was designed to finally solve the problem of getting rid ... Tesdor What Do Your Users Really...
Review posted Wed 29 Feb '12  ·  2 comments

So, you've designed your website and are ready to go live and you think that its looking pretty good - but how do you know if it's what your viewers want? If it were a movie it would be put in front of various focus groups to get feedback on whether it looks and works well. Tesdor takes the place of the focus group by offering any number of tests on your website to give you the amount of feedback that you think you need.   Tesdor is a safe and secure web design research and review application that's used ... The ultimate TV management guide

fav.tv The right place for TV shows...
Review posted Tue 17 Jan '12

TV seems to have taken over from the movies as the biggest talk around the water cooler these days. The regularity of a series gets into the psyche of the watching public far more effectively. With so many series being highly complicated to follow the viewer is sucked more and more into a maelstrom of information and snippets of information from friends and many other sources. Miss an episode and you have no idea what's going on - just ask fans of "Lost." Fav.tv is a place for TV tragics. It's a place where you can share thoughts and view ... Read more

Vent and rant about your boss

FMyBoss Show some balls. Give em hell
Review posted Mon 16 Jan '12

Yes you read it correctly. This rather humorous review app is called FMyBoss but in reality its really called F#%£MyBoss. So what's it all about I hear you say? Well it's an app for venting and letting off a bit of steam. FMyBoss is a place you can go to sound off with all your grievances about your boss at work. All the dumb things that do and don't get done, all the stupid things they implement and all the things you zip up about when your boss turns up while you are chatting around the water cooler at tea ... Miitla - Mind It Later Save sites with just one click
Review posted Tue 3 Jan '12

While there are plenty of free bookmarking apps available they all have their own little foibles to make them differ from the rest. Miitla is a new web application that is geared towards the regular Internet user. What makes it different from many others is the ability to quickly save any interesting sites all in the one place on a third party server while you continue to surf the net. And what that means is that you can access them wherever there is an Internet connection and at any time of the day or night. Read more

Share your short and precise movie reviews

GINQ Movies social network !!
Review posted Fri 30 Dec '11  ·  4 comments

Ginq certainly looks good, that's for sure. But there are, of course a squillion movie apps around. So what makes Ginq different to all the others? Well, it really is a movie review site that wants to be Twitter. Ginq is a free social movie review app that wants you to review the movies you see. But it doesn't want some rambling account of the allegorical meanings of the director's latest magnum opus. Ginq wants a short precise 160 character assessment of the film that you can share with your friends.   If you are looking for a place to ... Read more
