Revaluate What's it really like to live...
Review posted Sun 22 Feb '15

If you are anything like me when you rent a new property, the first place you'll head for is the shower. For me, if there's good water pressure and it stays hot for a while then I'm half way there. Unfortunately, that methodology has let me down a few times because water pressure could well be the least of your problems. Revaluate is a free property data and review application for home buyers, renters, real estate agents and brokers that delivers all the pluses and minuses of a property that you might be interested in. At the moment, the app ... Read more

Ventrifuge You Built That.
Review posted Sat 6 Dec '14

We all love creative types, don't we? Their minds work in such a way that they can pluck an idea out of the sky and change our lives a little bit with their innovative gadgets and inventions. Many of these people are paid well and have teams to collaborate and expand their original concept. There are, however a growing band of budding entrepreneurs - who are getting younger and younger, I might add - that don't have the vast resources to develop this great lightbulb moment that they want to develop. Where do they find other like-minded individuals with the ... Read more

Review posted Sat 29 Nov '14

Does the whole concept of Black Friday scare the living daylights out of you? You've spotted an advertised price for a new TV but it's probably going to mean queuing up for hours, maybe days, in order to actually buy it at that price. Not only that but there's going to be a lot of pushing and shoving when you get in there. But it doesn't have to be like that. PWUL (Pay What You Like) is a new shopping application that constantly tracks thousands of websites to find the item that you want and at the price that you ... Read more

Review posted Thu 10 Jul '14

If you've ever been in the business of collecting subscriptions from customers you will already know that there are pitfalls. For a start, a percentage of credit card payments will fail for one reason or another and communication to those customers via phone or email is guaranteed to take up way too much of your time. ChargeOver takes the hard graft out of automated invoicing and recurring billing by getting rid of paper invoices and statements and replacing them with a fully customizable automatic invoicing platform that's filled with great features.   If you are looking for a flexible, extendable ... Review posted Fri 16 May '14

It would appear that, after the horrors and belt-tightening that resulted from the GFC a few years ago, there seems to be a little bit of money back in the pocket again. It took around 10-15 years for the turnaround to happen after the crash of '29 so we've probably done a good job in minimizing the damage so far. I think we've learned a few things out of this crisis though. The main thing i think that we've learned is that it's never been more important to organize ourselves monetarily and that it's vital to live within our means. ... Read more

Review posted Wed 2 Apr '14

One thing that many a budding independent filmmaker doesn't realize until its too late is that the art of making a movie isn't just about the physical action of making the film itself. The grim reality is that there's a lot of paperwork involved - especially if you are the producer, director and writer. With film industry budgets tighter than they have been for many years, it's important to be well organized and have everything mapped out for when things do go off the rails a bit - and they probably will. There are a number of apps on the ... Read more

Review posted Wed 21 Mar '12

We all know the expression "Money is the root of all evil, "don't we? That phrase is generally only bandied about when we don't really have much of it or when it's hard to budget the money we do have. Budgetable is a new financial application with a slightly different take on the neverending monetary conundrum. Whilst it still delivers you a dollars and cents figure on the money you spend it also links to all your finance accounts and gives you an overall 'Budget Score" to show you how you are faring with your overall finances.   Budgetable is ...
