An event checklist where everyone gets to have their say

My Event Checklist Essentially a social packing...
Review posted Fri 5 Oct '12

I guess the mark of a checklist is that it acts in a Wiki fashion by allowing more than one person to have access to it and be able to collaborate and contribute to the information in it. And if that is the criteria then My Event Checklist qualifies without any problems. This social event sharing application allows multiple collaborators to add and update their lists and can be used from anything from a dinner party for a birthday to a live sporting event. My Event Checklist lets everyone see and contribute to the event they are invited to.   ... Read more

Review posted Sun 30 Sep '12

There has not been a huge amount of new innovation in newspapers for quite a few years unless you count their shrinking sizes and circulation. However, there is one new trick that you might have noticed recently. Have you seen those little tags attached to stories or pictures in your newspaper or magazine that are interactive? When you scan them with your smartphone you are taken to other related links and multimedia content that explains the story more. Taggstar is a new social publishing and sharing application that turns your two dimensional web page into a third dimension multimedia platform ... Read more

Everything you ever wanted to know about Japanese animation

Anime Doctor World's Largest Anime...
Review posted Sun 23 Sep '12

No, Anime Doctor isn't a virtual medical app where you can submit your ailments for online appraisal nor is it the home of an online vet. For the uninitiated, Anime began as a Japanese art form from the early part of the 20th Century. However, since the 1960's it has become one of the fastest moving and most influential art movements of our time. Anime, and the  Manga magazines that put it on the street, reflects populist art and design that has not only inspired much of Disney's recent work but often gives an insight into Japanese society that is ... How far away is that storm, Tiger?

Storm Distance Calculator Stay safe from storms while...
Review posted Tue 18 Sep '12

There are apparently some 25 million lightning strikes in the US every year with around 400 people struck by lightning strikes and many of them on the wide open fields of sporting events. The most dangerous place to be, of course, is on the golf course where golf addicts always seem to want to play one more hole before the weather really kicks in. Now, I was always told you count five seconds for every mile that the storm is away, after the  lightning strike and when the thunder sounds. Storm Distance Calculator works on this theory and, with a ... Read more

Dearly beloved, its a social place to pray

InviteToPray Prayer Requests Made Social
Review posted Wed 5 Sep '12

InviteToPray is one of the only religion oriented applications we here at the FeedMyApp offices have had the pleasure of reviewing. Considering the amount of God fearing individuals there are in the world this comes as a bit of a surprise to me. I don't see any reason why there shouldn't be more but, as it stands, this app for offering prayers is all we have right now. But don't think thats all this surprisingly interesting app has going for it because it is filled with extra features including privacy controls, prayer requests by you and for you and there's ... Sunlize Share and spread anything...
Review posted Fri 31 Aug '12

The way you share information through your social network can, at times, be a little flawed. It's all very well if the story you are trying to tell is specific to your social friends but what about if you want to get your message across to people in your local area for advertising or promotional purposes? You could fiddle with your Facebook settings and send your message to local friends and hope they pass it on or you can turn to something a little more specific. Sunlize offers a different way of spreading the word through your local area and ... Read more

Music to my ears...

Spotify A world of music. Instant,...
Review posted Tue 14 Aug '12

Life has just changed so much for the better. Spotify arrived in Australia (where i live) just a month or two ago and I gave it a go. It costs $11.99 a month to have full access to the premium app...but this gives you access to stream (and at high quality - 320kbps if you so choose) pretty much any track that ever existed...ok, some pedants will start wailing and gnashing their teeth and scream that they can't find x or y, but in all seriousness "most" music is there. ScanThe.Net Discover The Net Live & Share...
Review posted Sat 11 Aug '12

I guess the significant word for this social sharing application  is INTERESTING! You see, ScanThe.Net is a great place to find new content while scanning the net for cool things to share on your social networks. And, in a Twitter-ish or Pinteresting kind of way, you can follow people as well as your interests via keywords and find all sorts of interesting stuff that you might not find through normal channels. You can vote for your best or worst content so you'd better make sure the content you come up with is, at the very least, interesting.   ScanThe.Net encourages ... Read more

Enpixa A picture tells a better...
Review posted Thu 5 Jul '12

I guess we are going to refer to pretty well every photoshare with comments application as Pinteresting from here on in. There are lots of them springing up all over the place and each one seems to have its own specific quirk to set it apart from the others. Enpixa is a free photo share app for iPhone where you can add your voice to it so you can tell everyone the circumstances of when it was taken. Well, you weren't expecting that, we're you? When you have chosen or taken your photo just record your 30 second voice over ... Read more
