Warp your photos into cool caricatures

Photo Deformer Create your own crazy photos!
Review posted Wed 6 Mar '13

Ah well, it seems that everyone wants a wacky photo in their collection. Most cameras on your computer seem to have a few filters these days to warp our photos into almost unrecognizable bastardizations. Some of us just share them with their friends for a laugh while some find it a good way to produce a profile picture that is not only funny but also disguises them a little. Photo Deformer is a new photo editing app for smartphones that lets you warp and deform your photos and turn you portrait into a caricature of your former self.   Photo ... Read more

A photo sharing app that even your gran can use

Kicksend Send & print photo albums...
Review posted Thu 28 Feb '13

I feel for the photographic industry. For years, the only way to see your photos was to take your roll of film to the printers on Main Street, come back the following week and hand over your hard earned dollars to get your treasured memories delivered in a neat little paper wallet. Then the Internet and social networking took over. These days you can take a photo on your mobile and email it to friends and family or share it with your social networks in seconds. But, it comes at a price. There have been privacy issue for years regarding ... Read more

Review posted Sat 23 Feb '13

Sendltz is a free, cloud-based iOS and Android application that enables you to send, share and store photos, videos and documents and share them across any of your devices. Nothing too unusual about that, you might say? In the past FeedMyApp has reviewed some terrific and similar apps to this one, including Book My Cloud and iFrame Browser, but the difference here is that, with Sendltz, the size of the download can anything up to 2GB per file with a massive 1TB personal storage space available in the cloud. This lets you keep a copy of your important files in ... Read more

Review posted Sun 20 Jan '13

The Wikimedia Foundation have built a reputation over the last twelve years as being an excellent interactive reference for everything from Civil War battles to reality TV shows. The whole idea of Wiki being to allow everybody and everybody to input information into the system. Every year of their existence the Foundation have released a new project and Wikivoyage becomes the 12th official Wikimedia project. It's a free, worldwide, online travel guide and, like Wikipedia and its sister projects, Wikivoyage is free to edit, free of ads and is built collaboratively by volunteers from around the globe.   Regular FeedMyApp ... An event checklist where everyone gets to have their say

My Event Checklist Essentially a social packing...
Review posted Fri 5 Oct '12

I guess the mark of a checklist is that it acts in a Wiki fashion by allowing more than one person to have access to it and be able to collaborate and contribute to the information in it. And if that is the criteria then My Event Checklist qualifies without any problems. This social event sharing application allows multiple collaborators to add and update their lists and can be used from anything from a dinner party for a birthday to a live sporting event. My Event Checklist lets everyone see and contribute to the event they are invited to.   ... Read more

Review posted Sun 30 Sep '12

There has not been a huge amount of new innovation in newspapers for quite a few years unless you count their shrinking sizes and circulation. However, there is one new trick that you might have noticed recently. Have you seen those little tags attached to stories or pictures in your newspaper or magazine that are interactive? When you scan them with your smartphone you are taken to other related links and multimedia content that explains the story more. Taggstar is a new social publishing and sharing application that turns your two dimensional web page into a third dimension multimedia platform ... Read more

Everything you ever wanted to know about Japanese animation

Anime Doctor World's Largest Anime...
Review posted Sun 23 Sep '12

No, Anime Doctor isn't a virtual medical app where you can submit your ailments for online appraisal nor is it the home of an online vet. For the uninitiated, Anime began as a Japanese art form from the early part of the 20th Century. However, since the 1960's it has become one of the fastest moving and most influential art movements of our time. Anime, and the  Manga magazines that put it on the street, reflects populist art and design that has not only inspired much of Disney's recent work but often gives an insight into Japanese society that is ... How far away is that storm, Tiger?

Storm Distance Calculator Stay safe from storms while...
Review posted Tue 18 Sep '12

There are apparently some 25 million lightning strikes in the US every year with around 400 people struck by lightning strikes and many of them on the wide open fields of sporting events. The most dangerous place to be, of course, is on the golf course where golf addicts always seem to want to play one more hole before the weather really kicks in. Now, I was always told you count five seconds for every mile that the storm is away, after the  lightning strike and when the thunder sounds. Storm Distance Calculator works on this theory and, with a ... Read more

Dearly beloved, its a social place to pray

InviteToPray Prayer Requests Made Social
Review posted Wed 5 Sep '12

InviteToPray is one of the only religion oriented applications we here at the FeedMyApp offices have had the pleasure of reviewing. Considering the amount of God fearing individuals there are in the world this comes as a bit of a surprise to me. I don't see any reason why there shouldn't be more but, as it stands, this app for offering prayers is all we have right now. But don't think thats all this surprisingly interesting app has going for it because it is filled with extra features including privacy controls, prayer requests by you and for you and there's ... Localize your social media posts

Sunlize Share and spread anything...
Review posted Fri 31 Aug '12

The way you share information through your social network can, at times, be a little flawed. It's all very well if the story you are trying to tell is specific to your social friends but what about if you want to get your message across to people in your local area for advertising or promotional purposes? You could fiddle with your Facebook settings and send your message to local friends and hope they pass it on or you can turn to something a little more specific. Sunlize offers a different way of spreading the word through your local area and ... Read more
