This is a great little app if you run a business that relies on accurate scheduling of shifts for a number of employees. By using the internet, SMS and greater collaboration by all concerned the days of an important task ending up only half-manned should be consigned to history. It’s not rocket science and with all of the technology available today it’s not a ground-breaker either. Just a gimmick or the way forward? I’m not sure but then I’m still a lover of paperback books that you can fold in half as you lay on your sunbed next to the pool! I’ve yet to be persuaded about the merits of the tablet when it comes to reading material but that’s just an age thing. I’m not sure about some of the functions on this one. Whilst I can see the merits of a few I can see the at least one of them causing some confusion amongst restaurant staff as well as diners. As a reservation management system and customer reporting tool it looks to have all of the bases covered to enable business owners to monitor diner volumes and cancellations.
