Signing your employees in and time tracking is perfectly fine and manageable when your team is in the office or on site. There are apps for clocking your staff in and out that work just fine as long as you can be connected to the Internet. But how do you keep track of when everyone works when you are out of cell signal? MobileTimeClock gives you the answer to that conundrum by allowing you to use any of your available platforms to scan an employee's ID card to clock them in and out   MobileTimeClock lets you track hours for ... Create simple native apps for your small business

Review posted Mon 13 May '13  ·  14 comments

It would be surprising to find out that a large company doesn't have an app attached to it these days. We have been told for the last two years that an online presence is essential in these internet crazy times. With the boom in smartphones hitting an all time high and people thirsting for new apps to put on them these large businesses have had a head start on smaller ones - primarily because of the cost factor but also because it was deemed to be hard work to put a native app together. ZeitConnect is a foot-in-the-door app creator ... Read more

Get locals to tell you what's good through social networks

I have a friend who runs a cafe locally and I checked out the online reviews for the place the other day. They varied from ultra-complimentary (probably written by themselves) to ultra-critical (probably written by people from rival cafes.) To be quite honest, it didn't tell me much about the place. The whole concept of reviews needs to be thrown back on the people that matter most - customers - and Sooligan is a social review site with a difference. It takes it's 'reviews' from the comments on the pages of social media to give you a much broader overview ... Read more

Back in the days of paper books, researchers and serious book readers would always need a note pad handy to jot down relevant and important moments within the text so that it was simple to find those passages again later. Either that or there would be tiny scrawled hand written notes in the margins of the book itself. It used to be quite exciting to buy a second hand book and have someone's detailed notes explaining certain moments and drawing attention to other significant passages. In the 21st century and with the popularity of the eBook at an all time ... Read more

Let's face it, this world would be a better and a far more efficient place if our personal lives were better organized. We would get far more done, things would run smoother and there would be more time to do the things that we love to do best. There are plenty of personal organization apps (known as "get things done" or GTD apps) available on the app market but I guess you have say that there are app...and then there are APPS. As far as personal productivity apps go, Facile Things is an iOS and Android app that happens to ... Read more

Review posted Wed 24 Apr '13  ·  3 comments

Well, I thought Paul the Beatle was pretty good. And i thought that Paul the movie was hilarious. So, PAUL the app had a pretty good chance of turning out to be quite interesting. And interesting it most certainly is - especially for fans of video watching from the likes of YouTube, Last.fm, CNN and ESPN and your social networks. PAUL is a handsome looking video app for Android that is the only mobile service to offer both video playback and offline watching. Now you can watch your favorite videos anywhere you are and at any time you want whilst ... Read more

A note-taking app that you will actually want to use

NotesBox Finally a notes app worth...

The worst problem with keeping a note taking application on your iDevice is that they never really get used. I'm still constantly astounded by friends who, despite having perfectly fine note-taking apps on their iPhone, still pull out a pen and paper when they need to take notes, phone numbers or important details down. One can only assume that the apps they have are not user-friendly enough. So when an app like NotesBox comes along it is easy to see how it could well gazump all the others and become the industry standard.  NotesBox looks like a million dollars and ... Read more

Data monitoring seems to have come of age over recent years, especially since the app revolution really took off.  Up until recent years, the fine art of analytics and monitoring was a rather turgid and time consuming experience that nobody really wanted to take on. Add awesome networking to your business arsenal

Musubi Become Unforgettable
Review posted Thu 11 Apr '13  ·  3 comments

There are plenty of businesses where customers virtually demand to have an ongoing relationship. By that I mean occupations like real estate agents, networkers and financial advisers. It's almost as if your client is sitting on the phone waiting for your call and, if they don't get it, they are either going to be mighty peeved at you for not keeping in touch with them or they will take their business elsewhere. Either way you can lose a good client for life or, at the very least, a sale. Musubi takes the difficulty out of relationship building and gives you ... Read more
