A complete restaurant POS from ordering to billing for your Android

FoodZaps Restaurant POS + Ordering Simple Yet Powerful POS System
Review posted Today

It's a strange thing we are going through at the moment with new startups entering the Main Street retail arena. Whenever I walk down the street in my local town, the biggest changes I'm seeing are plenty of massage and fitness clubs, nail adornment stores, women's clothing stores and new restaurants. Have a look yourself the next time you are in town. It's reckoned that if you are still in business after a year, you are doing pretty well.  So, if you are a new restaurant, it's more important than ever to be using the right point of sale (POS) ... Stop arguing with your housemates about chores and food shopping.

Given the high price of rental residences in major cities it's hardly surprising that there are more and more share houses these days with several people splitting the cost of the rent and household expenses. In many cases, the first time they meet each other is when they move in - especially when we are talking about student accommodation. It's all good fun at first. Parties every night and new friends to get to know. But then comes the crunch when the place starts to get dirty and one person ends up doing most of the cleaning and another gets ... Read more

I've often wondered, you know. What exactly is it that turns a good app into a viral sensation? Over the years we've reviewed all the great free social apps upon release here at the FeedMyApp offices. Some, like Pinterest, Vine and Snapchat, were pretty obviously going to succeed. Others, like Flipboard, were not quite so obvious. The one thing they do need is a fair bit of luck. Given that wee bit of that luck, here's one that looks like it has all the right ingredients to hit the big time and be a mainstay in the app world over ... Read more

SaneBox A Better Email Experience.
Review posted Thu 17 Sep '15

Email has had a bit of a rollercoaster ride over the years. When the email revolution really took hold in the '90s, people initially held it in suspicion. The advent of email spamming over the following years just seemed to compound that fear. To the point that people were reluctant to even hand out their email addresses for fear of being inundated with viruses and unwanted advertising. Thankfully, things have moved on since then and email is now a viable alternative to regular post for getting information out there to individuals or organizations. Now we receive hundreds and sometimes thousands ... Read more

The simplest way to sync your friends when organizing an event

Review posted Fri 4 Sep '15

If you have been the unlucky person who has been put in charge of organizing a large group event online in the past you will probably know how much of a pain in the ass it can be. Just trying to get all the information you need to ascertain who is attending and getting their individual requirements together often involves several attempts to clarify the situation. Most people will use a site like Facebook to get people to commit but the only three options to the question 'are you attending?' are 'yes,' 'no' and 'maybe.' It's hardly the most comprehensive ... Some apps are sent to change our lives - this is one of them

Gesturely The perfect app for people...
Review posted Fri 21 Aug '15

Here at the FeedMyApp offices, we get sent a vast amount of app submissions every week. The last time I looked there were well over 30,000 apps in the system. Most of them are a lot of fun and don't claim to be groundbreaking events but occasionally, just occasionally, one comes along that will actually improve our lives. They are those one-of-a-kind apps that we wish we had come up with ourselves. Gesturely is one such app. So how can it change our lives? Well, how many times at work do you find yourself sending emails or messages out with ... Read more

Review posted Thu 6 Aug '15

When I first spoke about the concept of cloud computing to a friend in the business in England a few years ago, we both knew that there was one thing that stood in the way - security. While it was possible to offer cheap and reliable cloud collaboration, how could customers be 100% sure that their private and confidential data was 100% secure? Well, this could well be the answer to those sceptics. Ribose is a free, cloud-based, social collaboration app that connects you with friends, family, fellow-workers and communities whilst adhering to the highest possible security levels to ensure ... For quite a few years now, businesses have been using HipChat as a communication method so that their teams can keep in touch with each other wherever they are in the world. It's basically a web service for internal private chat and instant messaging but also features cloud based file storage, video calling, searchable message history and inline image viewing. Of late, there have been several other services that have jumped on board with similar models. The most popular of these newbies has been Slack. Both services are great at keeping teams connected whether they be in Kathmandu, Chicago or ... Read more

Aaahh, life used to be so simple, didn't it? It used to be that we could rely on our memory, a diary or copious post-it notes plastered all over the fridge to remind us of the things that we or our family and friends need to do. But these days we all seem to be so busy that it's hard to keep on top of everything. Whether it be birthdays and anniversaries, upcoming bills, business meetings or scholastic events, it's a pain if they get lost in your busy schedule. What we all really need is a personal assistant to ... Read more

One of the accusations often leveled at Apple over the years is that anything over the basic model often costs an arm and a leg. The cost of an essential item like Office or Photoshop was so expensive that many would rather hunt up a dodgy copy rather than forking out hundreds of dollars to Apple for the privilege of using the original. Things have changed dramatically in recent times however - seemingly due to the immense popularity of iPhone and iPad devices. Nowadays, there are a heap of different Office styled apps available for iOS as well as its ... Read more
