It has become apparent that, in these Internet-friendly times, it is almost essential for any business to have an online presence of some sort. The way that we meet potential dating partners has really changed over the last ten years. While many prefer to meet new people out on the streets or in bars and clubs there is a huge market out there that has no interest in meeting up in a late night alcohol fuelled environment. Many prefer to do their initial interactions over the net and organizations like eHarmony given the credibility to the online dating phenomenon and have had a huge effect on our social habits. Haloo is a new free dating application for iOS that adds a huge dollop of ... Read more
It would be nice to think that, in these times of undoubted climate change, the general public would be ready to try and find their inner greenness. Unfortunately, most of us are pretty lazy when it comes to environmental issues and, unless it is laid out in front of us, we put it in the 'too-hard' basket. A good way to get the message across is, of course, the app and there are a lot of great eco-friendly apps out there that will certainly educate. Sadly, they can get overlooked in the thousands of apps that get released each year. ... Read more
If you have ever read any of Malcolm Gladwell's books you will appreciate the vagaries of the general public. For a start, you can ask yourself why a game like Sudoku took off in such a short amount of time. One minute the only thing that you would find, apart from Peanuts and Hagar The Horrible, on your newspaper's funnies' page was a couple of crosswords. Suddenly, there was a rather taxing little numbers game that sucked everyone in. Now there's at least one Sudoku puzzle in every newspaper. The only trouble is, Sudoku can be a little challenging for ... Read more

You can't do much better in my book than to begin the reviewing year with a good new photo application. We here at the FeedMyApp offices just love a new photo editing app that offers something a little bit unusual to the simple Instagram look. I still find it rather amusing that Facebook bought a social photo network that 'ages' and shares your new photos - and paid over seven hundred million bucks for it - when I spend half my time scanning old photos and photoshopping them so that they look new. Strange that, but it's another story, I ... Read more
I'm sure everyone who reads FeedMyApp's reviews will be fully aware of this photo application. Not least for its recent purchase by a certain Mr Zuckerberg's Facebook team for the miserly sum of around US$715 million. It's not really surprising that they bought it given the problems that often occur with Facebook's own photo and video uploading service. Suffice to say, Instagram is a photoshare and edit app that has turned into a legend in its own lifetime. This new version, ready to download now, addresses some of the issues of previous versions as well as adding a slew of ... Read more
The last couple of years have seen sales of iPhone and iPad go through the roof and now every man and his dog seems to have a tablet under their arm or an iDevice of one sort or another in their pocket. While many of us are avid music fans and have copious amounts of music to sync at home, many out there have music players on their devices that don't get used because they can't be bothered. They think downloading is too complicated. Well, especially for those people there is a new music application called Free Music Download Pro ... Read more

Guaranteed to bring a smile to the faces of friends and family when you send them the photo. But be quick, because he'll be leaving the North Pole pretty soon. With all of Santa's time ... Read more
It's always surprised me that there wasn't an easy way to work out how much of your data limit on your mobile Internet you have left. There have been plenty of occasions over the years when my super fast Internet suddenly slowed back to a snail's pace because I'd exceeded my monthly limit. If I'd known, I would have put off downloading that movie or app for a couple of days until the new month kicks in. There is nothing worse than a slow Internet and some will pay penalty charges or 'top-up' their service to get them through. Obviously ... Read more
