Melt A fun little iPhone app to...
Review posted Mon 20 May '13  ·  4 comments

I'm not sure why I really like Melt...but I do. After all, there's really nothing that's particularly groundbreaking about this social photo and messaging application for iOS. It might be the fact that it has a very cool name or it might be the very minimalistic qualities of its simple interface. Or it might well be that it's just the place to get your favorite photos vindicated, liked and commented on. While, of course, we can always post our interesting photos on Facebook or any number of other social networks, there's no guarantee that your blaze friends will acknowledge them. ... Read more

These notes will self destruct in ten seconds...

NoteShred The Easiest Way To Send...
Review posted Tue 16 Apr '13  ·  11 comments

We've all heard the classic "Mission Impossible" sound bite where, after the agents have listened to the taped message, it announces that "this tape will self destruct in five seconds." Well, NoteShred is the online equivalent of the time-sensitive message. After you have sent your private note, message or document to the recipient you can decide how long they can have access to it. It ensures that you don't have important or private information isn't just sitting in someone's email in box where it could be access by others.   You might have seen a couple of reviews that FeedMyApp ... Review posted Mon 15 Apr '13

While we aren't, by any stretch of the imagination, advocating self diagnosis here - there is certainly nothing wrong with being reliably informed. Especially where your health is concerned. That's why this medical and healthcare app for Android and iOS will be of great interest to a lot of FeedMyApp readers. RxWiki offers all the very latest health related news from all over the world so you can stay completely up-to-date with everything concerned with health, medications, current techniques and the breaking news topics that could matter to you most. Add awesome networking to your business arsenal

Musubi Become Unforgettable
Review posted Thu 11 Apr '13  ·  4 comments

There are plenty of businesses where customers virtually demand to have an ongoing relationship. By that I mean occupations like real estate agents, networkers and financial advisers. It's almost as if your client is sitting on the phone waiting for your call and, if they don't get it, they are either going to be mighty peeved at you for not keeping in touch with them or they will take their business elsewhere. Either way you can lose a good client for life or, at the very least, a sale. Musubi takes the difficulty out of relationship building and gives you ... Read more

Save your blushes with this self destruct photo and video app that works on any platform

ReadOnce ReadOnce is a online service...
Review posted Thu 4 Apr '13  ·  15 comments

You might have seen a review of an app that FeedMyApp featured recently called iDelete that allowed you to send a photo or message to someone but with a time sensitive self destruct mechanism attached. It went one step further than the phenomenal SnapChat that caused such a stir last year. Well here we have another contender that is guaranteed to save a few blushes. ReadOnce differs from both those two messaging apps however in that it works across all platforms and supports audio, video, images as well as text.   ReadOnce is an online service for generating one-time only ... Make sure that your photos don't end up where Weiner's did

iDelete iDelete, an awesome free app...
Review posted Sat 23 Mar '13  ·  13 comments

If iDelete had been around a few years ago, former US Congressman Anthony Weiner would probably still be reasonably anonymous...and still have his job. Weiner was caught after sending an explicit picture of himself to a woman in Seattle. The picture went viral and, pretty soon, his career was in tatters. He's not the only person who was been caught with their pants down when sending 'sensitive' pictures to 'friends.' A few months back saw the introduction of an app called Snapchat that went some way to solving the problem by having a time-sensitive self destruct option when sending racy ... Read more

Improving the world...one story at a time

NewsHugs It's not all bad news
Review posted Tue 19 Mar '13  ·  1 comment

Life's not all bad news. But you wouldn't believe that when you are looking at the news tv news programs or reading newspapers these days. Tsunami's in Asia, shootings in America and floods in every nook and cranny the world over - these news stories seem to be the bastion of modern reporting. The more tragic the story is, the more papers or advertising space gets sold. But, it doesn't have to be like that. America's ABC News with Diane Sawyer tends to be dotted with unsentimental feel good stories but it seems to be the only one. And that ... Read more

PriceItBuy The first social network to...
Review posted Wed 6 Feb '13

Your local Main Street retailer isn't going to like hearing this but there are an awful lot of items that can be bought at much cheaper prices in other countries rather than at your local shopping complex. And while it may not be particularly good for the local economy, if you spent a bit of time shopping around online you can probably find your item at a better price in a store in a different country. The problem is, though...how do you get hold of your item after you've found it? PriceItBuy takes your online shopping social by connecting you ... Read more

Change the way you view news content online

TAGtivate TAGtivate: Follow & Share...
Review posted Sun 6 Jan '13  ·  2 comments

The hashtag hasn't exactly had a fair deal up of it up till now. I regularly see posts from friends saying how much they hate them. But my argument is that they haven't been used to their full potential and TAGtivate goes some way to proving my point. This social media aggregation application takes the hashtag to a new level to save time in your searching and instantly deliver the content you are looking for across many different platforms. The idea of this iOS device is to change the way we view our news and other online content through social ... Read more
