Elves My Gift Shopping Assistant
Review posted Mon 28 Dec '15

Santa isn't the only person who's been working hard for Christmas, it appears. Im told that his elves get through a fair amount of work too. According to reports, there are elves who wrap up presents, others that track the weather and more that pack up the sleigh. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the rest of us had our own personal 'elf' to help out when we are buying gifts for our loved ones? Well, maybe now there is... Read more

There was a time when folks used to always have a small notebook or a diary tucked away in their pocket wherever they went. It was vital to keep a note of all those important things like phone numbers and addresses and to write stuff down that you didn't want to forget. At home they might keep a scrapbook to paste in photos and the like or a travel log if they'd been on vacation. I wonder if anyone does that stuff anymore - especially when you can keep all that stuff and more on an app for your iPhone ... Read more

If i asked you which was the more popular entertainment for American families between major league sporting events, theme parks and museums, my guess is that you wouldn't pick museums. They have long been considered to be a bit old hat and stodgy and full of nothing but ancient relics. Surely no kid would want to see that, would they? Well, according to a 2011 study, there are over 850 million visits to museums each year. That's just about the same amount as the other two put together. Museums are actually very popular, it seems. KiteDesk Smarter Sales Prospecting
Review posted Sat 31 Oct '15

While it may be the creatives that grab all the accolades, it's the sales force that really are the lifeblood of any business. They are the team that go out and forage for new business and make initial contact with potential customers. To them, lead generation is the be-all and end-all of their daily life so it's more than important to make their prospecting job as easy as possible. Unfortunately, many are not quite as organized as they could be and spend half their time dashing to and fro between everything from emails to phone numbers for contacts to explore. ... Read more

I've often wondered, you know. What exactly is it that turns a good app into a viral sensation? Over the years we've reviewed all the great free social apps upon release here at the FeedMyApp offices. Some, like Pinterest, Vine and Snapchat, were pretty obviously going to succeed. Others, like Flipboard, were not quite so obvious. The one thing they do need is a fair bit of luck. Given that wee bit of that luck, here's one that looks like it has all the right ingredients to hit the big time and be a mainstay in the app world over ... Read more

Classic old school gameplay for modern devices

Paradot Do you have the balls!
Review posted Tue 29 Sep '15

I went to visit some friends down the coast recently and it occurred to me that the choice of home entertainment goes down big time as soon as one gets away from the city. We played a few games of cards before someone pulled out a peg solitaire game and that was it for the rest of the evening. I'd forgotten how wonderfully addictive and entertaining it was. I guess there was a little bit of synchronicity involved when I came across this entertaining puzzle game for iOS that bears some basic similarities. Paradot is a minimalistic retro style action ... It's okay, I can hear you shouting from the rooftops right now! Does the world really need yet another chat and messaging app? There are so many out there and all have different pluses and minuses but a chat app is a chat app, right? The fact is though that many of those apps were designed quite a few ears ago and many of them remain pretty much the same as they were when they were originally released. Needs have changed and different features have taken on a new relevance. So here I am to introduce to you a free ... Read more

Review posted Fri 4 Sep '15

It wasn't that long ago that car insurance was simply insurance. There wasn't a lot of difference between one company and the next and the main factors in determining the premiums we pay for insurance was our age and the classification of the vehicle we are driving. However, in many countries these days there's another area that can affect the level of payment. In most US states, for example, any moving violations can assess points on your driving record. As a result, with more points tending to indicate future violations, insurance companies review driving records every now and again and ... Read more
