Review posted Wed 15 May '13  ·  13 comments

Web designers may know what looks good visually on your site but sometimes the aesthetics can get ahead of the things that really appeal to your visitors. So these days it is interesting to add a different element into the proceedings.  In this case by adding a page optimizer to automatically put the stuff on the screen - and in front of your visitors eyes - that they want to see. It is a great way to please your visitors as well as converting more of them into paying customers. And it's all done automatically.   Spending more time trying ... Read more

While MoxieCanvas really does create beautiful animations we should get one thing clear. We're not talking about cute animals like Bambi or CGI'd like Buzz Lightyear here. Review posted Sun 14 Apr '13  ·  6 comments

A friend of mine recently made the comment that he was amazed that so many of his friends were 'ardent philosophers' given the amount of life affirming memes and quotations that they were posting these days. A little cynical perhaps, but there's no doubt that many of us have taken to using other people's words to try to find the appropriate ways to express our thoughts. Quotes Cover takes that concept one step further by providing the whole package of quotes, graphics and typography so you to create beautiful, wordy art to illustrate your social network page.   It seems ... Aircus Business driven SME platform
Review posted Fri 15 Mar '13  ·  2 comments

There has been a stumbling block that has prevented many talented  individuals and small (and not so small) businesses from opening their own website and the reason is the price that it costs to put it together, not to mention hosting it. The nearest you could get to a free website was a Cool Mojito Facebook page but now there's a new sherif in town - and it's name is Aircus. This excellent free web design and web hosting application walks you through a simple but effective website builder in minutes with heaps of features to advertise yourself, your brand, ... Read more

Citydoping NYC Get high on NYC
Review posted Tue 5 Mar '13

New York is so good they named it twice, according to Frank Sinatra. There has been so much written about the place over the years and it is still one of the must-visit cities in the world. Every travel application features it amongst their top cities but most of them just show you the highlights and obvious tourist places. While its essential to touristy visit places like the Brooklyn Bridge, the Chrysler building and the Statue of Liberty it is just as interesting to see the stuff the locals see. CitydopingNYC is a new iOS app created by New Yorkers ... Read more

They've been telling us over the last few months that the US economy is well on the way to recovery and that recovery is being led by home construction. That certainly isn't the case in Europe as yet but it's the American economy that tends to pull the rest of the world out of the doldrums. I tend to look at the US economy as being like an ocean liner. It takes a while to get up to speed but, when it does get going, it's hard to stop. By my reckoning, the US has just found second gear. So, ... Read more
