Word Smart A relaxing yet challenging...
Review posted Yesterday

In a recent study, it was found that an astonishing 1.2 billion people are part of the worldwide gaming community with around 700 million playing games online. To cater for these game-aholics, there are a whole heap of wannabe games released every week for your mobile or tablet. Most of them are little more than addictive time wasters that while away a few minutes on your commute to and from work or keep you amused as you lay on the couch in the evening. Sadly, most don't teach you a great deal apart from maybe increasing your reaction time in ... Read more

Zinkerz TOEFL Making It Easy To Study Hard
Review posted Wed 26 Aug '15

The Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) was first introduced in the mid 60's as a standardized test of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers wishing to enroll in US universities. It is accepted by many English-speaking academic and professional institutions and is one of the two major English-language tests in the world, the other being the IELTS. Its a tough test that involves speaking, listening, reading and writing and costs a fair amount of money to sit - so its important that you are proficient in all four elements in order to pass the exam. ... Record and interpret your dreams as you type

Review posted Sun 27 Apr '14

It's kinda rare for me to remember my dreams at night past that first ten minutes when I wake up in the morning. It seems so vivid at first but then it just seems to disappear as your mind grasps for more... like smoke in a breeze. I do remember a particular one recently where I was booking into an elevated hotel in the mountains of Nepal with a friend and my two cats. The fact that the friend was the girlfriend of a good friend of mine just made it more complicated - but, that's another story. They say ... Read more

One of the essential travel apps for travel in Asia

Tripper The World's Local Assistant
Review posted Wed 26 Feb '14

Wouldn't it be great if you could take your very own interpreter with you when you visit a country where you don't speak or understand the language? You could hire one with some local knowledge when you get to your destination but that can be quite pricey and there's no guarantee that your guide will have all the answers you need. What's more, you are going to need them to hang around with you wherever you go. The sensible alternative may be to turn to an iOS and Android travel application like this one. Tripper, or 'The World's Local Assistant' ... Read more

Review posted Sun 15 Dec '13

The Internet has certainly changed the way we live but who would have thought that it would change the way we speak, too? Im sure that, by now, everyone knows full well that LOL means Laugh Out Loud but it gets a bit challenging when you are presented with SEO's and FML...and we haven't even thought about LMFAO - maybe we shouldn't go there just yet. The fact is, the Internet exists on acronyms, abbreviations and slang and, if you want to know your way around, there needs to be an easy place to go if you want to find ... Read more

Eliminate grammatical mistakes with automatic and easy checking

Grammar Checker Academic HD grammar dictionary that will...
Review posted Thu 14 Nov '13

Let's get this straight from the start. I'm big on good grammar. Anything that can be done to improve the writing capabilities of our students has got to be a good thing. If you are a reader, you will know that there is a big difference between the quality of writing of people like Bill Bryson, Stephen King, J.K. Rowling and John Grisham compared with lesser writing mortals like James Patterson and E.L. James. While we are not suggesting that a grammar checker will propel your prose to those heady heights, Grammar Checker Academic HD is an iOS education and ... Read more

30 minute language learning with native speakers

Fluentify Refine English with Real...
Review posted Fri 5 Jul '13

They say that the only way you can really master another language is by conversing with native speakers in a one-on-one situation. This, however, can be an expensive and time consuming business. However, given that so many of us have webcams connected to our computers these days, it seems like a sensible idea to hone your language skills up online. Fluently takes advantage of this by offering 30 minute language learning sessions - with native speakers with a shared interest, no less - at probably the cheapest rates that you will find.   Fluentify connects language learners with real native ...
