One of the great boom industries in the app world over the last few years has been the introduction of cloud storage for your media. Well, Streem Drive is a new media storage application that gives you unlimited space to store, stream and share your important movies, photos and music from the cloud for just twenty bucks a month. It wasn't that long ago when email marketing was lumped in with the dreaded 'spam' word and was something to be avoided. It had its brief day in the sun but it became obvious that blanket emailing was largely a waste of time and money and better results would come from a much more targeted audience and a marketing campaign that can be tracked and analyzed. Acumbamail is a new email marketing and tracking application that makes it simple and cheap to manage a fully customized email campaign and get stats and analysis galore to track how well it is ... Review posted Mon 25 Nov '13  ·  330 comments

How much more convenient would it be to be able to answer your emails with a quick SMS message than to have to go through the whole rigmarole of replying directly? You can still text them via your smartphone, of course, but that does involve finding your phone first. Then you can type in your message on that tiny keyboard after checking the email address on the computer. It’s all a bit messy, isn't it? And who knows if your service provider charges you for text messaging or whether you have enough credit left? MooMle is one of those communication ... Read more

A social community where you can really meet like-minded friends

Worthy Are You Worthy of Me?
Review posted Tue 24 Sep '13  ·  364 comments

Is your social network getting you down? I've been saying for some time now that, in order to be able to keep up with what your friends are doing, there is an optimum amount of Facebook friends you can have. Once you get above a couple of hundred it starts to turn into a full time job to keep up with your feed properly. What began as a great social experiment has turned, for many, into a race to the most number of friends - the vast majority of which you never have any contact with. Quantity over quality. Worthy ... Review posted Tue 27 Aug '13  ·  632 comments

There are some apps that come along that make you think "why on earth didn't someone think of this before?" SquadMail fits into that category very well. What does it do that is so brilliant, you may ask? Well, as the developers state clearly, it works like Dropbox for your emails. Rather than having to "cc" the relevant parties in your team, SquadMail gives each of your folders it's own label so that all relevant members get access to all the correspondence that goes with it. Simply add or subtract team members to whom the folder has relevance and all ... Read more

Review posted Sat 3 Aug '13  ·  312 comments

Probably the most amazing thing about this iOS video messaging application is the fact that delivery is instant. Vtalkie uses simple 'press and talk' technology that allows you to share video or text messages immediately. So, effectively, this turns this easy to use communication app into a back-and-forth,  real-time 'walkie talkie' messaging service. The app also adds a social element allowing you to search for friends via social profiles. Like Glide, Vtalkie video walkie talkie is a free application that lets you get your message across fast. However, the former is only available for Facebook users whereas Vtalkie let's you ... Read more

Review posted Mon 20 May '13  ·  89 comments

I'm not sure why I really like Melt...but I do. After all, there's really nothing that's particularly groundbreaking about this social photo and messaging application for iOS. It might be the fact that it has a very cool name or it might be the very minimalistic qualities of its simple interface. Or it might well be that it's just the place to get your favorite photos vindicated, liked and commented on. While, of course, we can always post our interesting photos on Facebook or any number of other social networks, there's no guarantee that your blaze friends will acknowledge them. ... Read more

There are times when you have to send a video or text message to a friend or colleague that has to be secure. GlobAllShare: Social Network of the future The best way to earn and share
Review posted Tue 30 Apr '13  ·  315 comments

If somebody had asked you to get involved with an online social network called Facebook all those years ago do you think you would have taken it any further? If you did, of course, you would probably be sitting pretty right now. So if a new social network was about to start up that has something new to offer and offered you the chance to get involved during the pre-organizational stage, would you be interested? You'd be crazy not to look at it. GlobAllShare claims to be the future of social networking. It also offers the chance for early subscribers ... Read more
