Make your iOS device your camera and your Apple Watch your viewfinder to the world

Review posted Sat 9 May '15

Regular FeedMyApp readers might remember a review that we conducted last year of an excellent photo and video application for iOS8 called Camera Plus. Our thoughts were that, despite a plethora of great iOS camera apps available on the market (not to mention the excellent default camera that is built in to both iPhone and iPad,) Camera Plus was one of the better ones we had come across because of its sheer convenience and the fact that it is a hell of a lot of fun to use. This simple to use and newly updated version offers budding photographers all ... Read more

Review posted Sun 5 Oct '14

Now that Apple seem to have eradicated most of the bugs and problems from iOS8 it might be time to take advantage of some of its benefits. Camera Plus is an exciting, fun and easy to use app that has long been regarded as one of the better photo and video applications for iOS. This new version - fully optimized for iOS8 - takes full advantage of the upgrade. It makes the art of photo taking much simpler with its use of one-tap actions. The world is not a very happy place right now. Just look at the news. There's trouble in the Middle East and Europe, and Africa is a minefield just waiting to explode. The fact is, as individuals, we can't really have much control over what's happening in the word. We can have some control in our own individual happiness, however. Review posted Mon 8 Sep '14

Have a look around you. I bet you have a ton of stuff that works perfectly well and yet you don't use very much - if at all. Most households are the same. We've all got useful stuff that is just taking up space in our homes. Your nextdoor neighbor or the family down the road probably have the same situation. The fact is, when we need something like a circular saw or a bicycle or a microwave, we just go out and buy a new one rather than asking if our neighbors have one that we can buy or ... Read more

Who said that there wasnt any such thing as a baby manual?

Review posted Sat 16 Aug '14

There's an old adage that says something along the lines of 'babies don't come with a users manual' but here's an app that goes some way to defying that. iBaby is a new free baby health monitoring application that helps parents keep track of their baby's progress from conception to birth (and beyond.) Starting when you configure and enter your due date, this customizable application will keep you constantly updated as to where things stand and how long it will be until your baby is born. It also delivers week-by-week baby development information and a progress development bar so you ... Read more

Review posted Sat 9 Aug '14

The trouble with many 'to-do' applications nowadays is that they are geared either towards business use or designed purely for personal stuff. There's not that much around that covers all of your day-to-day activities. The other problem is that they are often packed with way too many features that you'll never use and are altogether too complicated. Taskify.us is a free, simple and effective organizer that lets you jot down all your daily events - from the moment you jump out of bed to the time you get back under the covers - and tick off your tasks when they ... The first online and in-person game to use GIFs to get your message across

YIX Cards Against Humanity with...
Review posted Sun 13 Jul '14

It's not easy to come up with an original game concept these days. YIX is a new game for iOS that actually manages to come up with something a little bit different to keep us amused. Well, to be honest, you can't really call this entertaining and very social game truly original because it's origins lie in games like Cards Against Humanity and Apples To Apples but, with it's use of animated GIFs rather than cards, it offers a unique take on a fun and often hilarious piece of entertainment that you can play with family and friends.   The ... Try to find the treasure in the mystery house by solving clues and riddles

The Hidden Treasure of Nahala The Hidden Treasure of Nahala...
Review posted Mon 2 Jun '14

It must have been my growing up in a household that was stacked with Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes novels that led to my love of a genuinely good  'whodunnit' mystery. I used to love trying to figure out who the dastardly murderer was or who stole the jewels from some stately mansion. Then along came the Cluedo board game and it went to another level. The thought of Mr Mustard bludgeoning someone to death with a hammer in the kitchen still haunts me. Things changed inexorably though when fully interactive games like Myst and, later on, Syberia were unleashed ... Read more
