Lend or trade your stuff with your social friends

Jipio Share and trade stuff with...
Review posted Mon 8 Sep '14

Have a look around you. I bet you have a ton of stuff that works perfectly well and yet you don't use very much - if at all. Most households are the same. We've all got useful stuff that is just taking up space in our homes. Your nextdoor neighbor or the family down the road probably have the same situation. The fact is, when we need something like a circular saw or a bicycle or a microwave, we just go out and buy a new one rather than asking if our neighbors have one that we can buy or ... Read more

Review posted Thu 10 Jul '14

If you've ever been in the business of collecting subscriptions from customers you will already know that there are pitfalls. For a start, a percentage of credit card payments will fail for one reason or another and communication to those customers via phone or email is guaranteed to take up way too much of your time. ChargeOver takes the hard graft out of automated invoicing and recurring billing by getting rid of paper invoices and statements and replacing them with a fully customizable automatic invoicing platform that's filled with great features.   If you are looking for a flexible, extendable ... Review posted Wed 2 Jul '14

Keeping your purchasing under control is one of the most important things for a business in order to keep its head above water. You don't want Charlie ordering up supplies in one department while Sam replicates it in another. The answer to the problem, of course, lies in creating a purchase order for the goods but we all know that there are times when that can go wrong. Procurify is an easy-to-use expense management and accounting application for business that simplifies, manages and organizes your business purchases - whether they be photocopy paper or new computers - and stops you ... It would appear that, after the horrors and belt-tightening that resulted from the GFC a few years ago, there seems to be a little bit of money back in the pocket again. It took around 10-15 years for the turnaround to happen after the crash of '29 so we've probably done a good job in minimizing the damage so far. I think we've learned a few things out of this crisis though. The main thing i think that we've learned is that it's never been more important to organize ourselves monetarily and that it's vital to live within our means. ... Read more

Know your Bitcoins!

Coinnext Cryptocurrency Exchange
Review posted Sun 11 May '14

There has been much newspaper and TV talk recently about alternative online cryptocurrencies and how they fare in modern society. Bitcoin is one that has been heavily featured as the potential leader of the bunch but even that has been treated with mistrust and confusion as people struggle to get their heads around the concept of non-traditional, non-folding money. The fact is, however, that more and more online (and non-online) companies are finding it a very convenient way of paying and being paid for goods and services. Coinnext is an online cryptocurrency exchange that facilitates the buying and selling of ... Read more

Review posted Tue 30 Apr '13  ·  26 comments

If you want to work out complex calculations in your specific line of work you probably have an Excel spreadsheet to work it out. But what happens when you are away from the office and don't have the availability of those spreadsheets at your disposal. Do you take down all the info and work it out at the office and tell them you'll get back to them later? Wouldn't it be better to have something that will do the job now? Valuation App has been designed with the financial entrepreneur and venture capitalist in mind and provides an instant answer ... Read more

Have a look at your fridge door. Is it covered with post-it notes detailing money owed or split bills that you share with flat mates?  Or a list of books, cd's or DVD's that you have lent to friends? That's how mine looks, anyway. I've thought of using one of the many apps available but, to be quite honest, they've left a little to be desired. Some only link up to your social media friends, some require yet another log in with a password (just what i need) and some only deal in money whereas most of the things I ... Read more
