My Weekly Budget (MyWB) Keep an accurate track of...
Review posted Wed 8 Feb '12

My Weekly Budget (MyWB) does exactly what the name suggests...it helps you keep track of your weekly budget. It won't help with a monthly budget or a fortnightly one...just weekly. I launched the app expecting a complex set up process with salary to be entered etc...but it wasn't to be...you simply put in an amount of money that you wish to set as your budget and then add in expenses. The expenses can be chosen from a fairly comprehensive list, or you can create your own. As the list of expenses is quite long (and gets longer if you add your ... Read more

The ultimate TV management guide

fav.tv The right place for TV shows...
Review posted Tue 17 Jan '12

TV seems to have taken over from the movies as the biggest talk around the water cooler these days. The regularity of a series gets into the psyche of the watching public far more effectively. With so many series being highly complicated to follow the viewer is sucked more and more into a maelstrom of information and snippets of information from friends and many other sources. Miss an episode and you have no idea what's going on - just ask fans of "Lost." Fav.tv is a place for TV tragics. It's a place where you can share thoughts and view ... Read more

Review posted Mon 16 Jan '12

This one looks like someone has finally convinced the banking fraternity that their best bet for future success is to completely disappear into the background and leave the sticky matter of customer service to people who actually give a damn! Let’s face it the reputations of most banks are currently shot to bits. It’s not just that they’ve made our lives a financial misery through years of imprudent lending but generally they’ve gone about it whilst being rude and unhelpful at the same time. Read more

Vent and rant about your boss

FMyBoss Show some balls. Give em hell
Review posted Mon 16 Jan '12

Yes you read it correctly. This rather humorous review app is called FMyBoss but in reality its really called F#%£MyBoss. So what's it all about I hear you say? Well it's an app for venting and letting off a bit of steam. FMyBoss is a place you can go to sound off with all your grievances about your boss at work. All the dumb things that do and don't get done, all the stupid things they implement and all the things you zip up about when your boss turns up while you are chatting around the water cooler at tea ... Comprehensive solution for commercial lending

Review posted Tue 10 Jan '12  ·  1 comment

Here’s an interesting one if lending money on a commercial basis is your thing. Having said that, it would seem nobody is lending money on a commercial basis if you believe the doom and gloom spread across most of the pink pages these days. That aside, this one looks like a good aide to getting both the processes and paperwork right for the smooth initiation, on-going operation and ultimate repayment of a commercial loan. Anyone who has worked in the industry, and in particular the smaller and perhaps not so blue-chip end of the market will know; documentation can often be the undoing of ... Share your short and precise movie reviews

GINQ Movies social network !!
Review posted Fri 30 Dec '11  ·  2 comments

Ginq certainly looks good, that's for sure. But there are, of course a squillion movie apps around. So what makes Ginq different to all the others? Well, it really is a movie review site that wants to be Twitter. Ginq is a free social movie review app that wants you to review the movies you see. But it doesn't want some rambling account of the allegorical meanings of the director's latest magnum opus. Ginq wants a short precise 160 character assessment of the film that you can share with your friends.   If you are looking for a place to ... Read more

NYC Apartment hunting can cost less

Naked Apartments Renting just got easier!
Review posted Thu 15 Dec '11

Apartment hunting is a scary business especially in NYC. It can also be an expensive business and not only in respect of the rental prices as there is often "Mr Ten Per cent" to consider and he likes his cake at both ends of the transaction. Naked Apartments can go a long way to not only help you find what you’re looking for but in a lot of cases succeed without you having to stump up the broker fees that go with it.
