An online game that is better than the original

BackgammonAce BackgammonAce: Reach the Top...
Review posted Tue 20 May '14

Along with Go and Chess, Backgammon is reckoned to be one of the oldest games in existence. It was originally thought to have been played about 5,000 years ago and seems to have originated in what today we call Iraq - though it was then known as Mesopotamia. Equally, real-time online backgammon play was just as quick off the mark with the first internet backgammon server coming online being established in 1992. However, the online game has come a long way since those days. BackgammonAce is an exciting, fast and free game application for iOS and Android that turns the ... Read more

Digitize and manage your paper content and create editable PDF's

Smart Document Scanner - PDF creator Digitize and Sync your...
Review posted Sun 13 Apr '14

The scanner really hasn't been utilized as well as it could as a legitimate piece of business software. We tend to use them as a peripheral device and rarely as a vital part of everyday business life. But if you are still using a lot of paper documents - whether it be receipts, invoices, bank statements, lecture notes or even the odd recipe that you want to keep for later use - its a hell of a lot easier to keep track of them if you can get your hands on a decent scanning app with some organizing abilities. The introduction of the computer systems has been such a boon to business over the last twenty years or so that it's impossible to envisage life without them. But with them comes other problems - especially now that every man and his dog seems to belong to some form of social network. There is always the temptation for them to log into their Facebook or Twitter account, play online games or, God forbid, watch porn sites and waste the time that you are paying them for. So, how can you monitor what they are doing behind their computer screens and ... Read more

If you are lucky enough to have all your software development team in the one place you are probably in the minority these days. Many may have scorned the 3D role playing adventure games that have cropped up over the last few years but i bet there wouldn't be many of those same wowsers and naysayers who would have thought that games like Tomb Raider and Myst would lead us to an app like this 3D event designer.
