Over 500 different social network communities under one roof

Meet (the app) People like you, near you.
Review posted Tue 17 Nov '15

While few of us are one-dimensional there are usually one or two things that tend to dominate our main interests in life. Some of us are artists, some consider ourselves thespians, some are football fans and some have much deeper things as the central issues in our lives. As effective as they are, the big social media outlets like Facebook really only offer us an overview of our lives and one finds oneself having to find one's own niche areas within it's walls. Dedicated boutique social media sites, on the other hand, tend to be more serious minded but haven't ... Read more

A fun and exciting Egyptian-themed arcade game to test your skills

Bungee Mummy: Challenges This easytouch and funny game...
Review posted Mon 9 Nov '15

Independent games developer Steampunk Wizard’s first game in their Mummy series was an action-adventure-puzzler called Bungee Mummy: King’s Escape. It was an an exciting and funny Egyptian themed, level-based game for Android and iOS where you had to swing around ancient tombs like Spider-Man and defeat the evil Solark who has stolen your throne. Now they've released a follow up game called Challenges that, rather than competing on individual levels, consists of four mini games to test your tapping, swiping, pulling and flicking skills. A simple and effective app to help prevent parking tickets

Parking dot RIP Parking.RIP makes parking...
Review posted Mon 9 Nov '15

Is there anything more frustrating and completely pointless for a motorist than getting a parking fine? We all know that half the time it's simply a revenue earner for the company or local jurisdiction and it doesn't seem to matter too much whether you are one minute or one hour over your time limit. Parking inspectors take little notice and the fine seems to be exactly the same. Parking.RIP is a new GPS based app for Android and iOS that helps in a number of ways and makes parking fines history. Interactive video messaging that could be the next big thing

I've often wondered, you know. What exactly is it that turns a good app into a viral sensation? Over the years we've reviewed all the great free social apps upon release here at the FeedMyApp offices. Some, like Pinterest, Vine and Snapchat, were pretty obviously going to succeed. Others, like Flipboard, were not quite so obvious. The one thing they do need is a fair bit of luck. Given that wee bit of that luck, here's one that looks like it has all the right ingredients to hit the big time and be a mainstay in the app world over ... Read more

Translate foreign text to speech in your language in an instant

mText2Speech - Text to Speech Break down language barriers...
Review posted Sun 25 Oct '15

Whether we like it or not, we seem to have more contact with people who don't speak our languages than ever before. There are more Spanish speaking people in the US, more Europeans in Britain and more people from all over the world doing business in Asia. In an ideal world we would all just learn a new language but that's not always practical. So, an app like mText2Speech is going to be very useful to many. This language and translation app for iOS breaks down the language barriers by automatically translating text phrases in over 90 different languages. It ... Read more

Keep up with all your favorite sports in one easy-to-read stream

SEAT77 The Eye of the Sports Fan
Review posted Fri 23 Oct '15

Ahh yes...sports fans! Are there any crazier and more passionate individuals than the folks who follow sport. I think it was Ted Turner who once said that sport was like a war but without the killing and he wasn't far wrong there. A friend of mine in England once told me that, no matter where you are in the world, if you can hold an informed conversation about sport with someone you've only just met, you'll have a friend for life. Fans will scour the Internet to find any information they can about their favorite sporting team but it's pretty ... Read more

DialMask Add a Layer of Privacy to...
Review posted Wed 14 Oct '15

One of the more painful things about giving out your mobile phone number to people that you don't really know is that you are instantly vulnerable. If it’s a business that has your number, the chances are you'll be getting follow up calls offering 'the deal of a lifetime' for the next few weeks. While that's not so bad if you are at home receiving the call, you really don't want random phone calls while you are at work, out for dinner or - worst of all - when you are driving. DialMask is a very useful phone privacy app ... Read more

A new way to meet friends and find out what's going on around you

AskMob Ask, Share and Meet People...
Review posted Tue 6 Oct '15

A while back we reviewed a crowd-sourcing app called InAWord Reviews that asked people from all over the world their opinions on everything from movies to restaurants in just a word or two. Now here’s an app that takes the completely opposite approach to information gathering. Rather than reaching out to the world in general, AskMob is a new social tracking app for iOS and Android that concentrates on the people directly around you. It aims to find out what people in your local area are thinking about and what they are getting up to but only deals with people ... Read more

Review posted Tue 29 Sep '15

Most of the apps we review here at FeedMyApp are good, solid and dependable and they do exactly what you'd think they would do. There are plenty of apps for business, plenty of game apps and plenty of social apps. But occasionally, one comes along that really takes us by surprise. Zookazam is, without a shadow of a doubt, an app that'll make you go "Wow!!!" So, what makes it so special, you may ask? Well, what if I told you that you could have an animated 3D dinosaur sitting right there on your desk in front of you...or maybe ... Read more

Classic old school gameplay for modern devices

Paradot Do you have the balls!
Review posted Tue 29 Sep '15

I went to visit some friends down the coast recently and it occurred to me that the choice of home entertainment goes down big time as soon as one gets away from the city. We played a few games of cards before someone pulled out a peg solitaire game and that was it for the rest of the evening. I'd forgotten how wonderfully addictive and entertaining it was. I guess there was a little bit of synchronicity involved when I came across this entertaining puzzle game for iOS that bears some basic similarities. Paradot is a minimalistic retro style action ...
