Even when your whole workforce is situated on site it's still not the easiest thing to get them to collaborate efficiently. They might be working in the adjacent room and still not be able to get their message across to an individual or the team. Thats why so many companies are using intranet social networks to keep everyone on board. Now imagine how difficult it must be when some of your team members are scattered over different areas of the country or on the other side of the world.   Sqwiggle is a video workroom that is always turned on ... So many of us are using our smartphones and tablets far more than we do our personal and work computers these days. In fact, with the aid of a good wifi and a few apps, they can almost become a second computer. If I said the words clipart to you the chances are you going to flip the page and have a look t something else. Clip art apps and sites are 'two-a-penny' aren't they? Just Google one and you will find pretty well what you are looking for straight away. Some will be free and some will require a royalty fee to be paid. Most people aren't keen on the idea of paying for clipart so there is a lot of potential for an app like this one. i2Clipart is an online sharing network that lets users create, share and download ... Review posted Tue 28 May '13  ·  25 comments

Given the amount of dithering around that Instagram has done since its acquisition by Facebook, it was really only a matter of time till someone came up with a credible alternative. However, rather than some 'new kid on the block' coming along to try and steal the almost iconic photosharing app's thunder, it is an old foe that has re-emerged. For all you newbies, Hipstamatic was the bees-knees before the Instagram revolution took hold and here it introduces its own photo sharing app for iOS known as Oggl (as in 'oggling' at photos, I guess.) This simple to use and ... Read more

One of the problems for copy writers for web pages is that they have far more interest in words than they do with the overall presentation. While it is the written word that is going to sell your product or idea to your customers, there is not a lot of point if your visitors get bored with the site before they get your message. This can be achieved a number of ways but the simplest way is to illustrate your article with relevant pictures to draw the eye of your visitors and have a better chance of keeping them reading. ... Review posted Mon 20 May '13  ·  8 comments

I'm not sure why I really like Melt...but I do. After all, there's really nothing that's particularly groundbreaking about this social photo and messaging application for iOS. It might be the fact that it has a very cool name or it might be the very minimalistic qualities of its simple interface. Or it might well be that it's just the place to get your favorite photos vindicated, liked and commented on. While, of course, we can always post our interesting photos on Facebook or any number of other social networks, there's no guarantee that your blaze friends will acknowledge them. ... Read more
