Vent and rant about your boss

FMyBoss Show some balls. Give em hell
Review posted Mon 16 Jan '12

Yes you read it correctly. This rather humorous review app is called FMyBoss but in reality its really called F#%£MyBoss. So what's it all about I hear you say? Well it's an app for venting and letting off a bit of steam. FMyBoss is a place you can go to sound off with all your grievances about your boss at work. All the dumb things that do and don't get done, all the stupid things they implement and all the things you zip up about when your boss turns up while you are chatting around the water cooler at tea ... Review posted Wed 4 Jan '12

This one has had some reasonably good user ratings and it’s easy to understand why if you’re one of those people that carry around a wallet that resembles a back-pack. Never mind the cash inside it’s usually all of those loyalty and membership cards that bulk it out meaning that you can no longer slip it inside a back pocket and sit in any comfort.Well, you can now regain your posture with this smart little app that enables you to get the information required on most of your loyalty and membership cards transferred onto you mobile phone. A file manager for multitasking

Folder+ New In-App Multitasking...
Review posted Fri 23 Dec '11

Here is another of those apps I love that deliver way more than you think they are going to. Take a look at Folder+'s rather drab exterior and you wouldn't have a clue to what's lurking inside. So, what makes it so special, you may ask? Well, for a start, it's a file manager that actively encourages you to multitask which is a bit of a bonus it you are planning to do some audio recording and draw something simultaneously - because you can do that here.  It also has an auto-recovery feature which enables you to reclaim any documents ... Review posted Thu 22 Dec '11

ˈIt’s not what you but who you knowˈ is a phrase that often pops up in connection with people who manage to land a job that to the innocent bystander seems way beyond them. Well this site positively encourages you to use your friends and any influence they may have to get you a job where they work but if you don’t have a Facebook account you can’t, at least for the moment, play along. It might be simplifying it a little I suppose. After all if you wanted a job and needed to ask your friends to put in a good ... Read more

Review posted Wed 21 Dec '11  ·  1 comment

I love this, interviews might be a fundamental part of the hiring process but you can’t really gauge if the applicant could do the job once they’re on the payroll from a polite conversation over coffee and a Krispy Kreme. You’re also never quite sure how much of the resume has been dressed up. I once worked for a business where a guy applied for the position of Head of Operations. His resume stated quite clearly that he spoke fluent Dutch which might have been why our Dutch boss was keen to interview him. One simple question in the language soon ... Read more

School Reports

matrep Write school reports online
Review posted Wed 21 Dec '11

After marking the attempts at poetry written by earnest and self-conscious pupils I should think writing end of term school reports comes a close second in terms of both the cringe and mirth factors. Still, with a system such as Matrep, teachers will no longer have to continuously hand write comments like "must try harder" or "is a disruptive influence" if they add them to the site’s ˈpre-filledˈ feature. Review posted Wed 21 Dec '11

Worrying about registration and ticket sales should never be the main event of your event and this app looks as if it can solve this problem in a simple to use fashion. Clear and concise step-by-step instructions will give your "do" its own page which can be customized in a number of ways allowing participants to register and purchase tickets online. The great thing about this is apart from wearing out shoe leather by hawking your tickets around, at the click of a button you’ll have real time confirmation on just who’s coming. Read more
