Review posted Mon 15 Sep '14

The way business works is changing rather rapidly in the 21st Century. Rather than everything being purely centered around an office environment, more and more businesses are working with reps in the field - whether it be in the local community, nationally or worldwide. It used to be complicated to keep in touch and collaborate with mobile workers who would report in anyway they could but mostly via expensive phone calls, emails or by fax. I'm sure you remember those horrible fax machines. Some of you are probably still using them now. Thankfully, those days seem numbered when apps like ... Read more

Create a social network to show off your selfies in real-time

Whese Simplest way to find out what...
Review posted Sun 31 Aug '14

If someone asks you whether you've been 'whese-ing' these days, you might be mistaken into thinking that they were inquiring about your health. However, there's another use of the word that has less to do with the state of your health and more to do with your state of your social selfie. Whese is a new, free photo-sharing application for iOS that throws the word 'whese-ing' into our online vocabulary. This simple to use, real-time app is ideal for the serial selfie taker and allows users to share every moment of their lives with their Whese friends. Add a few ... Read more

Who said that there wasnt any such thing as a baby manual?

Review posted Sat 16 Aug '14

There's an old adage that says something along the lines of 'babies don't come with a users manual' but here's an app that goes some way to defying that. iBaby is a new free baby health monitoring application that helps parents keep track of their baby's progress from conception to birth (and beyond.) Starting when you configure and enter your due date, this customizable application will keep you constantly updated as to where things stand and how long it will be until your baby is born. It also delivers week-by-week baby development information and a progress development bar so you ... Read more

Mobile Web apps have come a long way to challenge their Native app counterparts and a debate has formed as to which method is best. Both offer users and developers advantages and hindrances in platform independence, performance, user discoverability, maintenance and much more. One thing is for certain, organizations developing their mobile content strategy should be aware of the advantages and disadvantages of both application technologies. Read more

A free task organizer that you can use from morning to night

Review posted Sat 9 Aug '14

The trouble with many 'to-do' applications nowadays is that they are geared either towards business use or designed purely for personal stuff. There's not that much around that covers all of your day-to-day activities. The other problem is that they are often packed with way too many features that you'll never use and are altogether too complicated. Taskify.us is a free, simple and effective organizer that lets you jot down all your daily events - from the moment you jump out of bed to the time you get back under the covers - and tick off your tasks when they ... Review posted Fri 30 May '14

According to Goldman-Sachs, Australia is one of the least likely nations to win the twentieth FIFA World Cup when it concludes in the middle of July. I'm sure it didn't take them too long to work that one out. But you can never tell with this Australian team. If i remember rightly, they were within a hairs breath of taking a 10-man Italian team into extra time at the 2006 tournament until a woeful penalty decision gave the Italians victory in the 95th minute. The fact of the matter is, on the big stage, anyone can beat pretty well anybody ... Read more

Brazil Songs World Cup 2014 A must-have song and ringtone...
Review posted Wed 28 May '14

In case you haven't noticed, the soccer World Cup is due to kick off in just a matter of weeks - assuming the Brazilian venues are all up and running and not crippled by promised local strikes. Whoever you support to win the coveted trophy, there's little doubt that Brazil will be many people's 'second team.'  Luis Felipe Scolari's team is a little like the Harlem Globetrotters and are always a pleasure to watch whether you are from Spain, England, Germany or one of the 'minnows' like the USA or Australia. If you are planning to get on the Brazilian ... Read more

Review posted Sun 25 May '14

With the soccer World Cup due to start in just a few weeks on June 12th, soccer-fever around the world is beginning to hit fever pitch.  The USA play their first game against Ghana on June 16th but, given that the team have been drawn into one of many 'groups of death," not even the most ardent fan will give them much of a chance of proceeding through to the second round. Given that the tournament is being played in Brazil, it's hard to see anyone but a South American team picking up the trophy a month or so later. ... Read more
