Buy and sell all the stuff you wont find in the campus bookstore

Campus Bazar All your campus needs
Review posted Fri 4 May '12

Campus Bazar is like a Craigslist that specifically caters for local students. It's a free one stop marketplace that can be localized to your specific college and provides a place where all student needs can be satisfied - well, maybe not everything a student needs - but you can buy and sell everything from unwanted game consoles to text books. You can even advertise for a new room mate too, if you like. In fact, it can have everything in it that you won't find at the campus shop.   Campusbazar is a free web application for college students that ... Read more

What would you buy if money was no option?

Most Expensive The best App to find out...
Review posted Fri 13 Apr '12  ·  1 comment

What would you buy if you won the lottery, i wonder. They reckon that most lottery winners spend everything they win in the first five years and, I can only assume, that they spend all their money in Most Expensive. Here is a fun entertainment app that brings out the Paris Hilton in all of us. It's a fantasy shopping app (well, I guess the fantasy depends on how much money you have in the bank) that let's you search and find some of the most expensive items that money can buy - assuming you have the dosh, of course. ... Budgetable The Personal Budget Has...
Review posted Wed 21 Mar '12

We all know the expression "Money is the root of all evil, "don't we? That phrase is generally only bandied about when we don't really have much of it or when it's hard to budget the money we do have. Budgetable is a new financial application with a slightly different take on the neverending monetary conundrum. Whilst it still delivers you a dollars and cents figure on the money you spend it also links to all your finance accounts and gives you an overall 'Budget Score" to show you how you are faring with your overall finances.   Budgetable is ... Review posted Sat 10 Mar '12

If you've ever put a blog or website together you will know what a pain it is to display relevant items and keep them up to date. ShowSpace is a free app that makes it easy for you to gather all sorts of products from all over the web and display them on your blog or website as a way of monetizing your hard work. Earn money while predicting the future

Review posted Wed 22 Feb '12

I'm not sure who this addictive little analytical and social marketplace game is aimed at but it has sure got to me. TrendFor.me could be used to assist the betting man in working out whether to have a flutter on a certain event or it could be a great way to see what people think of a specific scenario and see if they can predict what is going to happen. Either way, I was sucked in pretty easily. CPP let's you learn the opinions of your community, ask your own questions or just seeing what people are predicting will happen ... Read more

Freelancer writers, right the write and cut out the middleman!

Content Spree Freelance Writing Marketplace
Review posted Mon 20 Feb '12

As a freelancer myself, especially in the early days, I certainly paid my dues to enough "content agencies" to know where the larger slice of the pie ends up. Content Spree, on the face of it at least, appears to have added some welcome transparency to the process. On top of that writers who sign up and the businesses they write for get to communicate rather than leaving the management of a project to the guy in the middle.  It’s not all free of course but writers will at least know how much a potential employer is offering before Mr ... Useful no doubt, but how safe is it?

MonkeyPeanuts.com Manage multiple bank accounts...
Review posted Tue 3 Jan '12

I was tempted to sign up for this one just to see what instructions you get when you do as there is very little to go on from the home page itself.  I decided not to for an obvious reason that we’ll come to later. There are a lot of apps around offering you the opportunity to manage all of your bank and credit card accounts in one place and let’s face it why wouldn’t you if you have a few of them. Spreading your cash (and your debt) is a very good habit to get into but it is a ... Read more
