Simple but effective personal finance organizer
My Weekly Budget (MyWB) does exactly what the name suggests...it helps you keep track of your weekly budget. It won't help with a monthly budget or a fortnightly one...just weekly. I launched the app expecting a complex set up process with salary to be entered etc...but it wasn't to be...you simply put in an amount of money that you wish to set as your budget and then add in expenses. If you’re made of the sort of money that allows you to keep 500+ bottles of wine in your cellar then $49 a year for this site’s premium plan will seem like a spit in the ocean. I can usually manage to rack up about 30 bottles pre-Christmas, however, they never seem to make it much past New Year’s Eve and although I’ve often thought about keeping the labels in a scrapbook of the one’s I like it’s always something someone else does. Sorry for the pun but I’m afraid this one leaves me a bit cold (Ed - there goes another rib...). What’s funny is that a lot of apps promote their ability to help you cut down on clutter such as scraps of paper and Post-It notes whereas this one actively encourages you to recreate the same squalid looking mess on your PC rather than stuck to your fridge door. Overly ambitious?
I imagine the developers of this one have a huge ambition of their own and that is to actually develop something worth logging in to. As it stands I really can’t see the point of it at all. Billed as a platform where you can "maintain a public list of all of your big ambitions in life" the site has been around since the middle of 2011.
