Google+ has tended to be the forgotten brother when it has come to designing pretty covers for your online pages. While Facebook's Timeline has been festooned with great cover making apps like Picscatter, Cover Photo Maker for Facebook and New FB Cover but I'm finding it very hard to find any apps for tarting up your Google+ cover page. So thank goodness for Google Plus Cover Photo Maker - a free design engine for Google where you can make your cover page one notch up from the rest.   CoverPhotoEditor.com is a powerful, responsive and very quick and easy to ... Wollage, the social-scrapbook creatively share your...
Review posted Tue 10 Apr '12  ·  3 comments

Scrapbooking was huge during the nineties if I remember rightly but i guess it got rather swallowed up by the social networking phenomena over recent years. Wollage re-activates the scrapbooking theme and brings it up to date with the new century technology by turning it social. Rather than painstakingly sticking photos, precious memories and a myriad of other stuff into your scrapbook and then filing it under the stairs for viewing later by a select few, Wollage brings your collective memories into a social setting by allowing you to create your scrapbook online and then sharing it with friends and ... Review posted Thu 5 Apr '12

Well first up, let's get the plaudits out of the way. PocketCloud Explore was named Best Mobile App at the recent Mobile World Congress by Laptop Magazine and MSNBC Gadgetbox. It was also named Best App Ever by another organization. So why does utter so many accolades? Because it's the missing link that we've been looking for, that's why. Explore let's you grab all your photos, multimedia and documents on your computers while you are out and about on your smartphone. Wherever and whenever you like.   Gee, we've really moved on over the last few years when attempting to ... Read more

The business management tool Schedule was developed because the alternatives, quite simply, weren't very good. They were too slow, too complicated and too expensive. A Pinteresting way of finding new music

Sworly The pinterest of Music
Review posted Sat 31 Mar '12

One of the saddest things that has happened over the last few years has been the demise of the music store. Gone are the days when you could Wander down to the local record bar, have a chat to the guy behind the counter about his latest faves, listen to a few tunes and walk out with some great music. These days you have to do a lot more work to find some good new music. Sworly is a social music and video share application that could well be a way of making your music searching a little easier by ... Read more
