Get socially romantic with chocolates, flowers and Weesh

Weesh app by JustUs Discover and share new and...
Review posted Mon 13 Aug '12

After having a quick look at Weesh I realize that the art of romance is certainly not dead. If there is one thing that is certain, however, is that this couple-friendly social app is probably not going to hold a huge amount of interest for the single person - unless, of course, they have an imaginary friend stashed away somewhere. Weesh is an app to create a relationship timeline, share date night ideas, chat and share thoughts and photos with your partner. The only this missing for this free app is the flower shop and the box of chocolates.   ... Read more

I'm sure we are all guilty of trying to find very cool new ways of turning your profile photos into eye-popping visual masterpieces. Anything to amaze your friends and get a response out of them. Print Mosaic is an ultra cool looking photo app that has its origins in the hippy days of the sixties when there would be those amazing posters for sale that were made using a mosaic of other photographs to paint a bigger picture. This app personalizes the process to let you select a photo from your Facebook, Instagram or Dropbox account and then 'color' it ... Read more

So here's the scenario. The last time I was in San Francisco I spotted this cool alarm clock in Chinatown with Mao's face on the dial. Now for some reason that I'm not going to go into here, I didn't buy my Mao clock and have regretted it ever since. Wouldn't it be great if I had a friend there who I could just message and they could nip down there and pick me one up and send it over to me. Well we might not all have a friend in San Francisco but Map Of Needs could come to ... Read more

Coworfing Find the best places to work...
Review posted Sun 29 Jul '12

The first thing i have to say about this social geolocalisation and networking application is remember the name because you might be hearing it a lot in the near future. Coworfing is a fascinating concept of an idea that encourages freelance workers and entrepreneurs to physically get together and share their cool workspaces with like minded individuals. But this is not simply an office space sharing situation. Coworfing aims to provide coworking spaces where ideas will flow, you can meet new creative people and get fresh viewpoints on your problems.   Coworfing is a place for freelancers, entrepreneurs, students and ... tunegram Instagram best friend
Review posted Sat 28 Jul '12

We all know how the photo sharing application Instagram went when it was introduced in 2010 ... through the roof! For those of you that aren't aware Instagram is an application that lets you take a photo, treat it with special filters and share it with your social friends. tunegram takes the concept one step further, however, by introducing a musical element. And not just any kind of music. Rather than having someone like Robbie Williams crooning over your precious holiday photos, tunegram let's you share your current listening pleasure to aurally illustrate your photographic memories.   While Instagram has ... Much as I love it when my friends put personal photos up there is something so much better when they are accompanied by a bit of a spiel to tell us viewers the circumstances of the event. A picture of a beach is a picture of a beach no matter how photogenic it is but if you knew that it was the place where your friends saw dolphins in the water and had a romantic picnic then it changes the whole scenario. Rewindy is a photoshare app that turns into a storytelling app by allowing you to create a visual ... Read more

Review posted Tue 24 Jul '12

It's becoming more and more obvious that there doesn't seem to be a hint of the App avalanche slowing down any time soon. So the ability to create your own app from your web page would be rather useful, wouldn't it? The interestingly named new startup application Rare Artifact App Builder is a free Android app that actually makes other Android apps. And, unlike many other app builders, there is no programming required and, what's more, no ads whatsoever.  There's even an app version available on Google Play.    So why make an app from your web page? Well, there ... Read more

Review posted Thu 5 Jul '12

I guess we are going to refer to pretty well every photoshare with comments application as Pinteresting from here on in. There are lots of them springing up all over the place and each one seems to have its own specific quirk to set it apart from the others. Enpixa is a free photo share app for iPhone where you can add your voice to it so you can tell everyone the circumstances of when it was taken. Well, you weren't expecting that, we're you?
