An iOS productivity app that you will actually use

Doozy Doozy literally *shows* you...
Review posted Sun 22 Jan '12

Doozy is an iOS productivity application for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch that has just been seriously updated to include more features. It's basic function is to transform your tasks into neat looking interactive icons that show you all the things you need to do in your day-to-day life to make a busy life more manageable and controllable. Think of it as a mobile online version of a chalkboard or whiteboard where you can see all your tasks neatly laid out ready for you to act.   Doozy, which is a play on the words 'do' and 'see,' recently received ... Review posted Mon 16 Jan '12

Sorry for the pun but I’m afraid this  one leaves me a bit cold (Ed - there goes another rib...).  What’s funny is that a lot of apps promote their ability to help you cut down on clutter such as scraps of paper and Post-It notes whereas this one actively encourages you to recreate the same squalid looking mess  on your PC rather than stuck to your fridge door. If you’re a Facebook user you can create an account and set up your own efridge and what’s more you can post notes on any Facebook user’s efridge. Just why you’d want to ... Review posted Sun 15 Jan '12

I imagine the developers of this one have a huge ambition of their own and that is to actually develop something worth logging in to. As it stands I really can’t see the point of it at all. Billed as a platform where you can "maintain a public list of all of your big ambitions in life" the site has been around since the middle of 2011. Looking at the members however they all seem to have registered within the last couple of months so it’s obviously taken a while to get off the ground. The issue I have though is ... Read more

Review posted Thu 12 Jan '12

Let's not fool ourselves here - we all forget things from time to time. Dont worry, it's not necessarily the onset of Alzheimer's. The fact is, we fill up our lives with so much information that it would be virtually impossible to remember everything. If you watch sporting coaches you will notice that they always have a notepad or a clipboard in their hand because even the smallest piece of information could be vital. Well, I'm not suggesting you rush out and buy a clipboard but there is a more modern way to keep up with the multitude of information ... Read more

Create themed photo streams

PopSafari Create photo albums
Review posted Mon 9 Jan '12  ·  1 comment

What a brilliant name for a photographic adventure application this is. PopSafari conjures up images of intrepid traveling and discovering new places and,  when you mix it with a photographic challenge, you know that it's going to be a lot of fun. Lets face it, most of us regard ourselves as photographic geniuses when it comes to digital photography. And it's true...very few digital pictures look average. It's usually only the subject matter that let's them down. PopSafari challenges the amateur as well as the more experienced photographer to create a stream or safari and invite other budding Ansel Adams ... Read more

The are times during the day when you might need a little reminder as to something you need to remember or get done.
